I usually love Edo Japan—great food and generally great service! However, during a recent visit to the location at the Edmonton International Outlet Collection Mall food court, I was really disappointed. While waiting for my food after placing my order, I noticed the food prep area was visibly dirty. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time—there even appeared to be mold buildup, which was disgusting to see. This is a serious hygiene concern, and I hope management takes immediate action to improve cleaning and maintenance. I’d love to keep coming back, but cleanliness needs to be a priority—especially where food is being prepared.

Went shopping and got hungry, it's been years since I ate at Edo so I wanted to try them again. There was a nice & helpful man helping with the ordering. My food I ordered was the Salmon Teriyaki with sauce on the side, I wouldn't say it was bad or great. For food court it was just ok.

I ordered their brown sugar boba half sweet and it was very affordable. (Only cost 5$?? Usually I pay around ~8$ for this size cup) The tapioca was soft and chewy and service was excellent. 5 stars ⭐️ from me!! (The photo is after a few sips 😓)

We went to eat here and there were several reasons why I have given it a 2/5. First of all, 2 of the electronic menu screens were not working so you couldn't even see the full menu to order. Secondly, the staff were just playing around while making our food. One staff member was trying to take a selfie of all the staff making the orders and put his cellphone so close to the broccoli that it was touching it.. not great watching someone's gross cellphone touch the food your supposed to eat. As well, the broccoli was raw. The staff were not friendly and the portions were less than they normally are at any other Edo. In addition, they didn't have any trays so we had to juggle a baby and all of our food/drinks. Not impressed and we will not be...

My wife and her parents were treated like second class citizens by what i can only assume was some kind of misogynist or racist guy cooking the food. For what it's worth the food is fine. But to be treated this way while I am not present. And then for them to realize we aren't going to put up with that only to stop the nonsense attitude when they see me approaching is pretty disgusting. You work in service, get your mind wrapped around that when you're at work. You aren't some prince that everyone has to put up with because you're special somehow. Grow up or move on from this industry if you can't treat people respectfully. Also put a name tag on so your co workers don't catch any flak for your...
