McDonald's — Restaurant in Alberta

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. They continually make mistakes on my orders. So much so that I would never recommend going there. They are clearly incompetent, and a can not follow simple orders.

After speaking with the Area Manager for this McDonald's and telling him what thought about his Nisku location and how incredibly incompetent they are. He convinced me that they would address the issues at this location. So after a few months I decided to give them another chance and well nothing has changed. If anything it has gotten worst if that is even possible. They made my order wrong yet again. So decided I was going to go in have them correct my order. I over heard two of their managers discussing how they let the my order leave fully knowing it was wrong. Once the manager turn around and saw me and asked if they had made a mistake. I simply said yes the double. Oh she said in return. You should just keep that burger. I looked at her and told her that I wanted what I had ordered. She replied well we are just going to throw it away. I looked at her and stated again I want what I ordered. She quickly realized I wasn't and processed to make the correct food for me. I watch them make it and they had missed a patty on the new one. Which fortunately for the manager she checked before giving me the replacement burger. Once I got back to my office I started to eat my nugget's and they tasted burnt and they were very dark. I believe they haven't changed the fryer oil in weeks or months. The only edible thing I received was the napkin.

Apparently they can't cook nugget's or simple count pass 1 or are able to follow the simple instructions of only onions. Adding one condiment is far to challenging for them. I would suggest that they seriously rethink about keeping this location open. There is clearly no hope for them to learn from...

Usually this McDonald’s isn’t bad… but last night the person on the drive thru DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH … then we wait a very long time at the drive thru window because the lady wasn’t sure which order was going out the window.. we finally get our order.. they forgot my straw (oh well, we can stop somewhere else and grab one) but then we get to the food…. The fries… tasted like they were cooked YESTERDAY… my chicken sandwich was so messy and soggy from too much sauce that I couldn’t even hold it… the burgers on the quarter pounder were dry from sitting in whatever warmer they had and didn’t have any ketchup… they must have ran out…. The nuggets.. also old and stale tasting THEN to top off this fabulous $40 meal… the pop machine ran out of coke and my coke had no flavour, I opened it and it had no colour. So in my opinion… I paid you for something and you failed to deliver.. yet I’m down $40 and had to stop for another meal last night… on top of all my old, stale cardboard food. I could understand one thing being old/cold…. But this was every single item… right down to the pop not having any pop 😂...

Typically I just order a coffee and it is always hot and fresh. No problems with the coffee. Today though, I was hungry.

At the order screen I asked for their apple pie dessert, and was told they were out but instead I could get the caramel apple Danish (spelling?), which sounded good so I happily agreed to switch.

At the first window I was told they actually ran out of the danish's too (again I don't know how to spell that), but they actually DID have the apple pies. I still happily switched back again.

At the second window, I got my coffee, and waited for maybe 2 minutes (which is OK for me, I wasn't in much of a rush), and then got the apple pie.

AFTER I left the parking lot and was driving home down the 625, I realized the pie was cold. I get that lots of people like cold apple pie, myself included, but I thought that typically the McDonald's ones were hot. The package itself says Caution Hot too.

I'm sure this was an honest mistake. It's a McDonald's in an industrial area so it can get extremely busy so I don't mind a minor thing like this. Just keep an eye out...
