This has been a year in the making. When I moved here I took out the family to eat there. The food was not bad and the price not bad. I wanted to give it another go before I rated it. A month or so later my wife tried to find a website or menu online. The only one found was on facebook and outdated. We called to get an order ready for pick up regardless. Unfortunately, they left my wife waiting on the phone 20 min. I decided to just drive there while she waited on the phone to let them know...hey.. you left my wife on the line.. the owner became biligerant and denied it. He walked over to the phone and said see, no one on the line. Little did he know I was chatting with my wife and as soon as he did that my wife said she was hung up on. I was not impressed. He continued to deny anything. I didnt make a big deal out of it and still wondered why he was so defensive and argumentative over something trivial. Either way. Food was comped and I took it to go. I was upset for the whole ordeal and didnt want to write a negative review over impulse. I waited.. about a year and after chatting with some neighbors about the experience, they convinced me to give them another chance. I went back. 100$ bill. 2 rib eye steaks plus other items. Chatted with staff and not to my suprise found out, seems staff has similar sentiments about the owner/operator. Appears that owner is not appreciated by all staff Food again mediocre Bathroom dirty with no hot water on faucet. Seems the owner is cheap, may only care about bottom dollar rather then actual customer service or staff. The fries with food tasted stale, like it was 2 days old. I gave this place an honest go but will, out of principle not support the arrogance and lack of care for staff and clients. I would rather give my money to an up and coming place that has lesser quality food for a positive atmosphere, interaction and customer service. Not to mention the online menu is outdated, not accurate and adds to the lack of care for the business. I empathisize with staff and others that have similar experiences. This is my experience and my opinion and feelings, given all my reviews, I strive for providing honest feedback so take it for what its worth. I do hope someone in charge takes note and starts to improve the place for the better. Lots of potential, but for now.. Read moreIt's our wedding anniversary and we decided to go local, as we try to do most times. Upon arrival, it took a while to get seated and the server apologized, in hindsight, 1st red flag. Once seated, our drinks order was taken in good time and arrived after a short wait. We had to wait a while to order and once we did, we received our second apology for the time taken. 2nd red flag. Several tables were still in need of clearing and only 2 servers could be seen rushing everywhere. Then the long wait began. Other people arrived and were seated, orders were taken, our drinks were finished and still no sign of the server in our area. Next red flag. Then, when we were discussing how long it had been, the larger groups started getting their food delivered to them. The large groups that arrived well after we did. Other people were overhead mentioning how long they had been waiting and wondering what was going on with their orders. We asked when our food would be arriving and had to wait for the answer while more people that arrived after us got their food. Enough was enough, we decided to leave. I went to pay for the drinks and although the payment process was started, she then changed her mind and said it was all good. Read moreI would like to review as a past employee. After reading a recent review made on this wonderful establishment I believe some things should be clarified. First and foremost, the owner/cook takes great pride in his not only his food but also his restaurant. As not only a boss but human beings this husband and wife team were kind and compassionate to their employees. There were incidents withing the restaurant when customers had attacked myself and other servers not only verbally but physically and our boss had our back 1000%. This family run business was always exactly that if you were a part of it then you were a part of the family. I personally recall these people and and they were the ones who were very unpleasant and aggressive. My boss was not able to support your business at the time but that is no reason to lie try and destroy theirs. So I guess my bottoming is if you are looking for a cozy, inviting, wonderful place to take your partner or your entire family for dinner where you will have (in my opinion) some of the best food, be treated with respect and a smile, and truly feel and taste the passion and love this couple has for their business, customers and staff they please take a chance and try petros cause you will not walk away unhappy.
