I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at Subway but I wouldn't recommend this one! Last week I came in and didn't ask for olives on my sandwich but somehow ended up with them not sure if at the till they mixed sandwiches up but either way I wasn't impressed. I went back into to the store and the lady offered me a free cookie for the mistake....a cookie in place of my sub i don't think so. Then since I was again working in the area I went back for soup since it was a cold day. I asked for the large bowl of soup. 0When i got back to work and opened my bowl it was only half full and I was charged full price. I called the restuarant to see why this way and she said that when the guy was filling up my bowl they ran out of soup. So with out just telling me that, offering me a different kind or charging me for a small bowl he just kind of hid it from me. She then proceeded to offer me a full meal for free. I really never wanted to go back but once again was working in the area and thought Id use my free meal. Well somehow they managed to mess that order up by giving me the wrong sandwich. I am a pretty picky eater so I just threw it out but the lady in front of me was returning her ham sub because the meat was sour smelling and tasted even worse. I wouldn't recommend this subway! Drive the 3km and get your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe stopped by yesterday to order a sub on the way through town. We was told that this location was out of footlong wrappers and therefore we needed to order two 6 in. We were then charged for two 6-in combos, as opposed to a footlong combo. As well, when the young lady at the cashier was questioned why the price was so high, the young lady could not answer. She gave three separate totals, all of which were about $2-$3 above what we typically pay for this combo. The cashier was unable to figure out change on her own, and when my daughter asked for just the sandwich and not the combo, as with the new price she didn't have enough money, the cashier said "I don't know how to do that you'll have to buy this". And a woman behind her gave her 50 cents to cover the difference (a turkey and bacon footlong does not cost $20.48). After looking at the website and inputting the information, it appears that she was charged for two 6-in combos; however, requested a footlong. In addition, she only received one bag of chips and one drink not two and therefore we were substantially overcharged. The cashier also had difficulties with other orders yesterday, not knowing how to work the till. Additionally, the stock of drinks and chips was almost out. The total for our meal is usually $17.39. That's a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSubway keeps raising their prices at a much faster rate than my pay increases š. I seem to recall less than a decade ago the 5 dollar footlong. Somehow it has become a 6 and now a 7 dollar footlong. The cheapest items on the menu used to cost a reasonable amount, making a tuna or cold cut or veggie sub actually worth the price.
The quality of the veggies doesn't appear to have gone down, although they seem to put way less on by default now. You have to keep asking for extra if you want a decent amount. The staff at this location is absolutely lovely, and they are doing their absolute best at handling the recent changes due to the covid-19 pandemic. I just wish subway as a corporation would revisit their pricing or create some sort of value menu again that falls into the $3-$6 range and doesn't involve...
