Stopped here at this Tim Horton's today on our highway road trip. went in to pick up a coffee and food and use the bathroom. After waiting outside the ladies bathroom for about 10 min (had a cleaning sign on ladies bathroom door and door blocked)I finally asked how much longer it would be, I was rudely told by two staff the ladies bathroom would be closed for at least 40 more min for cleaning....??? there was 2 of them in there, and this time frame indicates it takes them minimum 50 min to clean a bathroom, really??? in 50 min you could repaint the bathroom in that kind of time... wow.... The staff member i talked to rudely told me (she could stop men from entering the men's room if I wanted to go in the men's bathroom instead.) totally unacceptable... if they were doing a (deep clean) why would they do this at 1pm on a holiday weekend, on a major highway when of course they will be busy... I will never stop at this location again, never had such horrible treatment at any other Tim Horton's.. there was a ton of staff in the Tim Horton's side of restaurant (didn't look on the taco side) with this much staff on a holiday long weekend, I would never expect this kind of treatment, if you are looking for a nice pit stop when heading through Red deer, DO NOT stop here... go pretty much...

Staff are grumpy which is understandable in our end as they are busy taking orders,preparing and catering to line up . No complaints on that . We always try to see the positive sides of everything.
The only complaint I have is that, I was on the 2nd line up and most kids and customers in the line up were taking pictures of the fly enjoying the cheese crossaint. I decided to politely inform one of the staff I would say maybe she’s one of the manager or supervisor as she is helping a cashier in the till ( she’s white with glasses in a bun) - told her “ dear just to let you know there is a fly on the croissant “ and she rudely looked at me saying “ there’s nothing we can do with that with eyebrows up “ - I just keep my calm and go through with my order - While waiting for my order most customers after me informed cashier about the same thing they still told that lady but no action was done - I think they’ll keep it as it is.

Read moreWe just stood 15 minutes in a lineup to order one chicken sandwich and a chicken bowl. When we got to the front of the line, the rude staff member informed us the had neither rice, nor chicken. When I told her that it was disrespectful of people’s time, to not have the ingredients to make half of it, but not put up a sign or even inform people waiting, she informed me that it’s not her fault because she’s not the manager. The blue haired manager was right there, heard the whole thing and did nothing.
That poorly trained, rude, and obnoxious staff member has made it so not only will I obviously never eat there again, but will probably never eat at another Tim Hortons.
That restaurant must be very desperate for staff if that is the kind of staff they have and the kind of manager or shift supervisor that they would allow to work there.
I wish it was possible to give this restaurant less than one star and that particular worker negative stars.
It also speaks to the poor management that they would have such poorly trained staff, not enough food ant 5 pm for their core dishes, and not empower any of their staff to solve the problem.
Zero stars. Do not recommend. Literally eat...
