Switchback Cafe @ Tamarack Outdoors — Restaurant in Alberta

I came to this place for the high reviews, and for the bad ones related to Starbucks, the customer service of the staff was poor. Kindly asked for any drink that doesn't have coffee in it or tea, as my husband has very sensitive stomach. She was no, we do not have. This is not a way if running a business, she was very unwelcoming, she just could've chose to just not add the espresso shot in any drink, she could even have offered that they have different types of milks if we have any restrictions. But all she was just NO, we don't. :) Which is bad...

We did crypt lake hike and had wished we stopped by here first. They have food as well as hiking gear. We didn’t try the food as we were on our way out of town. The shop is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly.

I wish we came here for coffee. If anyone is looking for coffee this place blows the other spots in town by far. Wish we knew this gem before arrival and found it by luck on our way out. The low count of reviews needs to go up!

EDIT in response to cafe’s reply: I never said it was ‘made with sugar’. I said it tastes like regular coffee with sugar. 🙂 I’ve had Vietnamese coffee many times and, sorry to say, yours tastes nothing like it (it’s supposed to taste super sweet)!
