Windsor Lounge — Restaurant in Alberta

My fiance and I stayed at the Prince of Wales hotel for the first time and we were excited to dine in the Windsor Lounge. Unfortunately, they have the slowest and most unaccomodating service I've ever experienced. We had to get up from our table and go to the bar 3 times to order. We were very polite in ordering and we figured the servers might be really busy. But then we keep noticing that other tables who have ordered after us get their drinks before we do and they get to order more. We seem to be in the invisible table as no server was coming to us while other tables are getting served continuously. The last time we got up to order drinks they brought the wrong drink. Whenever we try to make eye contact to a server to get their attention so we can order they look away. Spent 2 hours in the lounge and due to their very slow service I only had 2 drinks and my fiance only got 3. Extremely...

We have explored each part of the Prince of Wales Hotel from the gift shop to the lounge and even the restaurant. We’ve heard fantastic presentations about the place every night at 7 o’clock, which is always fantastic and done by young people who are passionate about their job and also passionate about the place. We went to the lounge to enjoy a couple of cocktails and charcuterie board, which was very tasty and had a wonderful selection of meats and cheeses and pickled items. We had a few drinks at the Windsor lounge one evening last week. The service was good. My first drink was the paper plane... wow. It was so good. Strongly recommend it. The second drink I had was a cesar, and I was disappointed; way too spicy and not quite enough flavouring. My partner had rosé, and it was good. It was disappointing that it closed at 11:00; I would have liked for it to stay open until 12:00. Last call was around 10:00 or 10:15. The views are breathtaking. The atmosphere was awesome.
