Rosa's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Amherstburg

Years ago this used to be one of the best pizza places on the planet, but then the original owner sold it and the quality of the food has just gone downhill. The food is very bland. Last night we had about the worst experience we have ever had at the place, and i felt compelled to write this review. We ordered a medium pizza, veal parm with pasta and meat sauce, a chicken ceasar salad, an order of the meat lasagna. When we showed up to pick it up they had obviously forgotten the ceasar salad, and had to rush to make it. We got it home and i don't know what was wrong with the chicken in the ceasar salad, but it definitely did not look like it had been cooked right. We avoided it. We then found a beetle cooked in with the meat sauce in the pasta. That ended the meal right there. Will never...

4 of us visited on a Sunday evening. The ladies both ordered bruschetta bread, worst bruschetta on the planet, soft mushy bread covered with bland diced tomatoes. My friend ordered chicken parm and mashed potatoes. Sorry no mashed potatoes that day. I ordered an appetizer of tomato and bocconcini cheese. Sorry no bocconcini cheese that day. I ordered an interesting personal pizza which was supposed to be topped with fresh arugula. The pizza arrived at the table with no arugula. The waitress didn't even know what arugula was. After asking the waitress twice where the arugula might be, you guessed it, no arugula that day. No apology for serving the "wrong" food. Why serve a dish to a customer if you can't make it properly? We order a pizza tonight and we got it cold... very unsatisfying expecially when it came within the hour. When I called and asked why did we receive a cold pizza the young lady said well we are behind on our delivery and we are very back up but that does not mean ur pizza should be cold... I was not in disagreement with her even though I got my pizza within the hour like they said so i am still not sure how that would cause my pizza to be cold. She then said well what do you want us to do............ummm I would like a hot pizza like I ordered thats what I really want.....
