I contacted the bakery as a last minute solution for doughnuts and cakes for a wedding celebration that was less than a week away. Heidrun took my order and was able to offer options that met the dietary needs of guests. I picked up 40 doughnuts and four cakes that were tree nut free and a dozen gluten free doughnuts. Everything was fresh baked, looked amazing and tasted even better! Everyone at the party raved about the deserts for days and it was well worth the drive from Kamloops to pick up....

The wedding cake they made for my niece's wedding was beautifull and delicious. What is more, the owner met us at the bakery on sunday, his usual day off, to make sure we had it when we needed it. My only sad note was that the bakery was, indeed, closed when we picked the cake up so I couldn't pick up loaf of their Chuckwagon bread while I was there....
