Dana Kabob is, by far, one of the best Persian food restaurant all around. Our family, friends, co-workers, and neighbours enjoy the taste of their food, ever since we discovered them in early 2020. In fact, Dana Kabob has become the most recommended restaurant all around our large circles of friends and co-workers.
The secret here is not simply just their deliciously marinated meats and scrumptious salads, but also their incredibly clean kitchen and superior customer service.
In addition, I must make mention of the nice large portion of food that you receive with each order. This restaurant is extremely generous with their portions. You will not be disappointed. In fact, you will almost always have a welcoming leftover meal for the next day.
During such challenging times, this restaurant obviously strives to remain at the top of the your take-out list and continues to succeed.
You must try every dish they have on their extensive, yet never-overwhelming, menu. I recommend you to start with my personal favourites: "Soltani combo with rice", "Salari Leg combo with rice", "Salari Breast combo with rice", and "Baghali Polo with...
Read moreI have ordered from this place only because my daughter preferred their gheymeh stew to other places'. Their quality used to be pretty good. However recently I'm finding that even though they have raised their prices (a lot!), quality has remarkably diminished. The barg kabob has started tasting really bad and inedible (because it's not marinated in onion enough, unless they are using a different meat now?) so I have been ordering only chicken and sometimes koobideh. Koobideh is so full of flour that you can't taste the meat anymore, and both that and their chicken were so salty I felt horrible for having ordered from them for my family on a busy day. Crossing this regular place off of my list for the last time, even though I had given them one more chance. It's unfortunate how some businesses only think about short-term profits and not about the long-term effects of customer dissatisfaction. Non-Iranians may not be familiar with what this food should really be like, and so may still go there, although I doubt they'll give it...
Read moreI ordered fesenjoon with rice (chicken stewed in pomegranate sauce). After waiting for half an hour at the restaurant for my order, I was advised that there was no more chicken, which is the main item in this dish. For that reason, I was given $5 back without any other option or substitute being offered. Why did it take them half an hour to realize they have no chicken?? Keep in mind, I was on my lunch break and drove 10km to come to this place. I left the restaurant with whatever food they had packed in the bag. Once I got back to the office for the remainder of my lunch break (which wasn't much considering I had to wait half an hour for my food), I was extremly disapointed with the service and the food. It was horrible. This review is not intended to put down this family business or the food, it is simply to make them aware of the poor service they have provided. Due to this negative experience, I will not be returning...
