I ordered a pizza at 8:22PM on Weds Jan 21. I was told in the email the estimated time was 9:22PM, I understand sometimes things happen and it may be late. But it is already an hour estimate - that is longer than any other pizza companies I’ve ever ordered from. The pizza took almost 2 hours to deliver - didn’t get it until 10:10PM. I called the restaurant in Aurora where the pizza was made at 9:41PM to get an ETA on the delivery as it has been over 20 mins now. The name of employee on the phone started with a R I believe and he had an accent, when I asked him where it was he was saying the driver has left 20 mins ago and he should be here soon and when I bring up that the email said it’s estimating 60 mins which is more than enough time and now it has been 80 minutes, he abruptly tells me it is due to the weather in a tone that can be perceived as rude. He was also very loud so I mentioned he didn’t need to yell and I think he got offended that I said he was yelling as he repeatedly told me “I’m NOT YELLING. THE WEATHER IS CAUSING DELAY.” He did not ask me for my information or order to verify that he was vouching for the correct order. Finally, the delivery shows up 2 hours later and the pizza is cold and he gave us the wrong dip (we didn’t realize until after the driver left. We ordered cheddar jalapeño and peppercorn ranch but he gave us cheddar jalapeño and creamy garlic).When we paid the driver he just ran back to his car right away and he didn’t even ask if we wanted any change back. We have ordered pizza from this Pizza Hut for delivery before and it has never been this disappointing, for the most part they will always deliver within an hour. I am very disappointed and very not satisfied with both the service and accuracy of this order. I guess my tip wasnt good enough for him and he had to point at the receipt and say " just letting you know the delivery charge only goes to the company" with a disgusted look on his face. Excuse me?! Don't make me feel bad! Just Unbelievably rude! Not a pleasant experience when you are a paying customer. Very unprofessional. Don’t they close at 10:45?), one of the men looked at me and yelled “pick up order” and I clarified that I wished to place an order they asked what I would like but did not punch anything in and called out to someone else to assist me. I waited for a couple minutes to be helped at cash and realized a man who was NOT in uniform was walking around the kitchen bickering with people which I found beyond strange.
