DO NOT USE ONLINE ORDERING! Horrible service. Both your site and skip have meal options you don't actually carry. I placed the order via your site to be delivered by you and then I get a call that you don't have the items. WHY ARE THEY ON YOUR SITE? Also, I wasn't able to choose something else. I would have to create a new order and wait two weeks for the refund of the first order. Why? Why not just switch my meal and refund the difference. What if I only had that amount of money in my account and now I can't have lunch? The way I was spoken too was most concerning. Terrible service all together. Get your shit together. Highly don't recommend ordering online for Swiss chalet. This isn't the first time they've offered food they no longer carry. Take it off your menu if it's not available! Or at least figure out your customer service. On top of ordering $50 worth of food, I used my birthday coupon for a dessert to which I was told that was also cancelled and couldn't be used again as it's a one time code.. but you guys messed up? To begin, the online ordering for large individual orders was not user friendly and awkward. Although order was for 7 dinners and separate dishes, you could only order a total of 6 butters and 4 packets of ketchup. Lots of going back to ensure orders were placed separately. When the order got here (pre-ordered for a specific time), the food was unevenly heated. This was not helped by your new environmentally friendly containers. The vegetables were ok but all the chicken ( both white and dark) was extremely dry ( like it had been under the heat lamp for some time) Since it was a large order, could you not have cut up a freshly cooked chicken? Online ordering gave you no choice as to whether you could get white or whole wheat bun. The buns itself were all whole wheat and hard as rock. Most disappointing and unsatisfactory. Read moreI have been a loyal customer to Swiss Chalet for the past 60 years But the last 3 visits to your Aurora Take-Out Location I have been very disappointed with the chicken ( mostly skin and bones, and very little chicken). This past Sunday I arrived just after 11am hoping everything would be fresh. I ordered half a chicken with fries to go and I told the young girl to make sure the half chicken was better than the last time. They made up my order and quickly wrapped it up. When I got home I found the half chicken looked good BUT now the fries were dried out, hard and burnt... definitely not freshly made..... I am beginning to think that because I am 86 yrs old with a walker that they can pass off their left overs to me...I paid $21. for half a chicken and also know I can go next door to Metro and buy a whole bbq chicken for $11.
