Food was excellent. Two significant issues to consider. First is that the salad is not much of a salad. This could use some effort. 6 strips of lettuce and pieces of yellow onion is not salad and other East African restaurants serve delicious salad as part of the side. Secondly, the ratio of goat to rice needs to be re-evaluated. I feel like I purchased $25 worth of rice. Hot sauce is nice. Other item ordered was the BBQ chicken with Alfredo pasta 8/10. The Alfredo pasta does NOT taste like Alfredo sauce. It has an interesting greasy beef flavour. The taste is rich and delicious but not saucy like Alfredo sauce is. BBQ chicken was good. If there was a bit more sauce on the chicken or as a side to the chicken, it would likely be the best chicken in the city. Will visit this restaurant again but will eat in to see if there is a difference between in-restaurant service vs takeout.

Amazing experience tasty šŸ˜‹ food🄘 for my first visit at this somalien restaurant , the lamb meat dish with rice and salad was so delicious that I couldn’t take picture to post it here, I posted the empty dish šŸ˜…as a proof it was tasty . The soup 🄣 also was tasty & flavoury with a little amazing spice (The lamb meat well cooked , tender). We were served by a cute somalien Lady. What surprise me more is the price ! Only 30$ for full menu for two persons with drink and bananas as fruit desert , I guess impossible to find such a tasty menu for such a reasonable price in downtown. Congratulations owners for your great services and hospitality.

4/5 recommended. i tried their chicken bbq with rice. complementary soup and juice with banana. chicken bbq juicy tender and topped or brushed with light bbq sauce. If i compare it with other somalian restaurent in food quality and price then i will go with Sahaba restaurent or african somali. its better than Maze restaurent which is just across the street.

The food is nasty so does the environment. There were flies all around (Nasty)..

I ordered two dishes, the chicken sugar and goat meat. They gave me tbone steak that was super hard and I was unable to chew it plus I wanted goat meant not steak The chicken sugar had a very small portion of of chicken in it and the bowls were dirty.

I called the store and spoke to someone that told me to come in and that they'll see what they can do.

Long story short, I drove15 minutes from my house to this sad excuse of a restaurant only to be told they can't refund me my money due to their policy.

They wanted to remake the order but I declined due to the flies I saw and the poor customer service of them not apologizing for the nasty food they prepared or the time I drove to get to the restaurant instead they were busy chatting in their language and looking at me like something was wrong with my face.

All of a sudden they threatened that they've called police on me since I didn't wanted to leave without my money.

I called police myself and was told they didn't call police as they've claimed since it wasn't a criminal matter.

These people are savages and rude with no customer service skills.

Stay away cause they threaten their customers.

I will never return to their nasty restaurant and will be reporting them to Better...

I quite like this place. I have been going a lot. Yes the food every now again isn't as great as it has been in the past. The prices have gone up and the portions at least with the meat have went down, but anyone who has been to the grocery stores lately know we are all feeling the crunch of inflation, I cant blame them they need to survive as well. But for the most part the food is usually very good. Huge portions for the money. The complimentary soup is great. They usually will throw in little extras like no charge for tea. The rough aesthetics of the place I quite like actually. It just adds to the vibe. Lol. The bathrooms are for the brave only lol. But overall great little spot, very nice people. I...
