I donât usually make reviews but⌠At first the menus catches your eye with the half and half options and all the good pictures. We were excited to try this place. There was a young girl at the cashier, she made it clear she didnât want to be there, I ordered the Philly cheese steak wrap. First she turned asked other worker making food if kitchen is still open he said Yes? She was wearing gloves while taking the order on the POS and then took our cash with the same gloves, THEN she proceeded to grab my steak, peppers and onions with those same gloves no utensil just her hands. I asked her are those the gloves you just used to take our cash she says yes and I said no I wonât eat that food and she tried to retract and say oh no these are different gloves even though I watched her and she admitted the first time. They proceeded to put that same pile of meat and veggies in the wrap when my BF stepped in and said no everything will have to be remade that she had touched. She was VERY ignorant from the beginning. When we asked who was the manager, the owner standing right there didnât do a thing, so my man continues to explain why we wonât eat that and we need another cook to make our food as they take it to the back room to get gravy and we did not trust her. He told my man to stop making a scene and that the other cook is going to treat the food the same way. We were unimpressed by the service and the Philly CHEESE steak didnât even have sauce or cheese. Another man walked out from the back and my Bf said is this the manager and the first guy that was there the whole time said âme and him are the ownersâ. Making us get the impression that itâs not a very professional place plus they were all wearing baggy clothes and sweatpants.. it may supposed to be comfort food but the staff are way to comfortable with your food and their demeanour when a complaint arises. My man then puked later from the rice sticking in his throat, he paid for extra sauce and they didnât even put a...

Story: I got chicken over fries mild. It was really spicy, like crying level of spice. I should mention I have got this before from the north side location and was thinking of moving up a level in spice because I wanted more flavor. I am not a huge spice person but I like some spice to my food. I shake my fries before I start and they turned dark orange. Got half way through and was holding ice cubes in my mouth cause it was burning so badly. Asked the guy at the counter "just curious how much do you put on this because it is really really spicy". Immediatly defensively said "I made this myself and it is correct". Never answered my question but "okay but how much did you put on this because it is orange" to which I showed my very orange box, he was defensive again just saying "no I made this myself with 3 dots of sauce". I ended up just walking away from this man and sitting back down and not eating. I never asked for a refund or to be remade or speaking to anyone I just wanted to know how much spice was put on it and he was a prick. Maybe have your resturants have the same standards for spice level? Feels like he has been complained many times about the spiciness because of how defensive he got. Ended up flipping him off which was a little far of me which he said "same to you". I am still not sure what I did other than getting visably upset at him...
Read moreBeen coming here everyday for lunch while I'm attending NAIT for training. Most of the time its great, as long as their isn't more than 2 or 3 ppl in line. Anytime there is more than 2 or 3 ppl in line, the food quality goes to near 0. I just wasted $20 on a crispy chicken shawarma that's supersized and a fries combo.
The shawarma has 2-3 chicken popcorn nuggets in it and barely any sauce, if I wouldn't of ordered all toppings, there would literally be a pita with 3 popcorn chicken nuggets in it.. The fries aren't cooked, still raw and crunchy in the middle. Very disappointing.
I'm giving 3 stars because the food is good when they aren't rushed, but when I have to throw away raw fries and then go spend another $20 on food so I'm not hungry because they "forgot" to put chicken in the shawarma is not acceptable. This isn't the first time this has happened in the 2 months I've been coming here, it's just the worst example and what prompted me to write this review.
The guy who made the wrap needs to be trained and whoever served barely warm raw fries should also be trained. There really isn't an excuse to serve anyone food prepared that horribly after they spend their hard earned money on it.
Extremely disappointed that I now have to find another establishment to eat lunch at while I'm...
