My wife and I just bought a couple subs on the way home tonight after work. It was probably the worst subway experience I can remember. The young gentleman serving us ( his name was Avi) seemed like he was on another planet. They only had white bread left, and it wasn’t the best . We had to ask for our selections several times. He kept getting stuff wrong. When I called him on it politely, all he could do is complain that he was working on his birthday. Welcome to the real world. After asking him to grill my sub a 3 rd time, and hearing him complain just as many times for working on his birthday. My wife and I couldn’t wait to leave. When cashing out, he asked us what subs we ordered . So he could ring them in. . My fault on this one, but after we got home, I realized he over charged us. And then all of sudden he lost his patience and started talking in a very rude manner with me. He was having a temper tantrum at that point because he started to bang the sauce bottle all because I asked to put more than 2 sauce he got so frustrated that he did not give me the sandwich he said quote “ get out of my store I am not making this sandwich for you and if you don’t leave my store I will call the POLICE” I was in shocked and disbelief what was happening to me and all of this happened at around 10:25 ish pm. The crust of the bread was hard.
The tables and floor look like they haven't been cleaned since yesterday.
Told the girl that made my sandwich to put a little bit of mayo on, then she proceeded to not listen by putting on half an inch by half an inch of mayo. She needs to learn how to comprehend what is the difference between a little and a lot.
The staff were complaining exceeding loudly for all the customers to hear about other customers. If the staff are so miserable in regards to working in the customer service industry, they need to find a different job that doesn't require them to deal with customers.
