So good we ate there each day! I got to start by telling you I went in to inquire about when they closed (we ran into early closing times in another area) the woman working the counter was so inviting and eager to tell us about menu choices that we couldn't help but want to eat there. They will letterally make any pizza to suit your needs and on the second day we got half hawian, half donair w/ side onions. Amazing Pizza and Cold Drinks is what you get at Tom's. The place is busy, counter service, if dinning in or on the deck they bring you plates, cutlery and napkins. Pop by the individual size or 2ltr, domestic beer and craft beer. We got two 14" pizzas our first night a Tom's special and a Meat Lovers. We regret not getting more pizza the second night we got two 16" for a family of 5. The second night we had family come to visit us and we agreed Tom's was where we wanted to go back to (they live in Sydney area and know tom's pizza so it has a great reputation). Lots of cool old signs to see lots of people coming and going. It was our family favorite restaurant for our week in Cape Breton! Cheers to a great experience. BTW the woman who greeted us so nicely (I thought was the owner) I asked another woman about her before we left who turned out was the actual owner, the first woman is a long term emplyee and if she is that happy and excited about the pizza you know it has to be great, what an ambasador...

If you find yourself lost in the picturesque wonderland of Baddeck and your tummy starts a grumbling symphony, head straight to Tom’s Pizza. This place is like the pizza equivalent of finding a unicorn that gives free hugs – it’s that magical!

Tom’s Pizza is a slice of paradise where the crust is so perfectly crisp, it could be a character in a rom-com. It’s got that ‘just right’ blend of crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside – the pizza equivalent of a well-cooked marshmallow. And the sauce? It’s like a secret potion made by pizza wizards. Sweet, tangy, and so addictive you might consider smuggling a jar home.

Now, the toppings are piled on like they’re trying to win a “most toppings on a pizza” contest. If you don’t need a fork and knife to navigate your slice, you’re doing it wrong. The cheese melts in a way that would make even the most stoic cheese-lover shed a tear of joy.

The staff at Tom’s are so friendly, you’ll wonder if you’ve accidentally joined a family reunion. In summary, Tom’s Pizza is where pizza becomes an experience, not just a meal. Prepare to fall in love – just remember to save room for dessert, because if you’re like us, you’ll want to go...

Tom’s Pizza offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. We especially appreciated the outdoor tables with umbrellas—and the fact that dogs are welcome was a big plus for our family! Located right next to the town's visitor center and a few charming gift shops, Tom’s is easy to find and has ample parking. The place was clean and welcoming, with internet access for customers and plenty of funny signs at the order desk to keep you entertained while waiting for your food. We ordered an 18-inch Meat Lovers pizza and a 9-inch garlic fingers for $44. The crust was thin and crispy, and they definitely didn’t skimp on the toppings—everything was generous and flavorful. You can buy a whole pizza or just a slice, depending on your appetite. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary water, and for those who enjoy a drink, local beer is also available for purchase. Our whole family enjoyed the food and experience. Tom’s Pizza is a great spot for a casual meal, and we’d definitely recommend it to others...

Nice folks. Mediocre to just-ok pizza. It tasted pretty good (cheese and pepperoni), but whoever put ours together needs to go back to pizza making class. Ours came with the pepperoni placed under the cheese and sauce. This is backwards. In pizza making around the world (except for you Chicago deep dish wackos - I love you though), it’s crust, sauce, cheese(s), then toppings (especially pepperoni which needs more time to cook). Ours (again, with the pepperoni placed underneath everything) resulted in the pepperoni being under-baked, which also caused the cheese to slide directly off the pizza with the pepperoni attached. Even more strange, it seems Tom’s knows this is wrong, because in the sidewalk billboard they use out front, they show a pizza made the correct way, in the correct order, with pepperoni on top (see pic). Again, it tasted ok (in did hit the spot after a long day), but it just wasn’t made right and, as such, was just ok. Recommended, but with the previously mentioned caveat.

I was really impressed by the quality of the pizza. I has a tasty combination pizza (pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms). My friend had a vegetarian which had a whopping 6 or 7 ingredients! The price was decent: $5 for a slice and can of pop (taxes in). You can opt to have only the slice of pizza for $3.75 (again, taxes in). I literally ate 3 slices because it was so good—plus I was starving. Compared to the prices for entire pizzas, I believe it's a better deal to buy the individual slices, with the caveat being you only have the choice of plain cheese, pepperoni, combination, or vegetarian.
