The Eggs Benedict was fantastic; the color was darker than I'm used to seeing. It was creamy with a wonderful flavor, salted perfectly; it comes with peameal & homefries. The poached egg was perfectly soft as I ordered. The Club house sandwich was also great with a huge portion & comes in a basket with fries. ***(Gluten-free option for toast) ***Breakfast served till 4pm Employees were well dressed, kind & patient. The decor is nice with booth seating & tables. Private back room for larger event dinnng, seats up to 44 people; family friendly. This restaurant is able to make traditional turkey dinner with all the sides for parties or corporate events or family reunions. The parking lot is free, handicap accessible as this restaurant is a 1st floor location, bathrooms are clean & large enough to maneuver. Three of us had a late lunch & it was pleasurable; the wait time from ordering to receiving our meal from the kitchen was quite fast.

Perfect neighborhood spot. I was part of a large group, and we all had a great night. Cottage Canoe is a casual restaurant with a cozy rustic cottage atmosphere. Wide variety on the menu, and the food arrives hot and fresh. Service is friendly, professional and quick. Shout out to our server, Sarah who was a star, handling our large group with a smile and positive vibe. Highly reccomend the Salmon cakes, the trout, and quesadilla, also the fries were some of the best I've had in a restaurant. First visit, but definitely not the last. Definitely give this gem a try.

A kids meal that doesn’t include a drink seems foolish, the pictures on the kid’s menu showed the drink. Charging $2.99 for cheese on a child’s $9.99 burger and fry is ridiculous, 30% markup is a rip-off. But all their burgers and fries did taste good. The Tacos should be dropped from their menu, the meat is dry, the taco is essentially unseasoned and flavourless. No salsa but a bland coleslaw. If you’re wanting a Taco go to Jey’s Burrito next door. The peppercorn burger was good. Service was excellent, but we should have hit Jey’s Burrito next door!

Our first visit using a coupon, gave a free breakfast with the purchase of 2 drinks, and one full breakfast. Arrived just before the breakfast rush - Sunday. Told greeter (friendly) we were first time and preferred booth. Not available as reservation was pending. We accepted a semi booth. Waiter was fine, friendly and stayed on top of our order and needs. At about 25 minutes from ordering, he informed us that food would be late, we said acceptable providing it is hot. Minutes later he arrived with our plates. Pancakes were warm but the refrigerated syrup made them cold. My wife asked for butter as none came with the pancakes. Butter arrived minutes later and was also refrigerated. Hence the butter was unable to melt, my wife requested they microwave her pancakes which softened the butter. Our pancakes were the driest we have ever tasted. Not enjoyable. The breakfast was now warm, not great as the egg was runny rather than over firm, the sausage was fine, but the home fries were absolutely under cooked and mushy, warm but no crispness. My advise, get more staff, and push through your orders in a timely fashion. Do not allow reservations when high activity means you can be easily overloaded and about to disappoint many customers. Train the cooks to serve when fully cooked, light pancakes and have a server to push out plates as soon as they are ready. Surroundings were very nice, roomy, warm and clean. Too bad the food...

I have never ever been treated so badly at a restaurant in my life. My husband had made reservations for my birthday for six. We arrived early. They seemed very overwhelmed and unable to cope with the amount of people there which really wasn't that bad. Not one person came to address us as we stood for over 5 minutes. Finally when someone came up to the front I mentioned that we had reservations. Her reply was we'll have to wait as they are very busy. OK fine but the group of four in front of us blatantly said they were there first but didn't have reservations. Unbelievable but true. OK fine. So we continue to wait. After another 10 minutes a female from the back whom looked like a chef asked if we had been helped. We said no we hadn't and I said again we had reservations. Then the group in front of us repeated they were there first but had no reservations so this chef said she would clean up some tables for us. The weird thing was there already was free tables. So a few minutes after that a waitress came and took the group of four who had no reservations to a table. Wow! Really!? My husband who is pretty laid back said that's it where outta here. We will never ever be back and my family will never go there either. We had a fantastic dinner at MOM'S restaurant instead. This was our first and last visit. First...

Went here with my girlfriend for dinner. We were the only ones in there (4:30 pm on a Sunday) service was prompt and the food came out quickly but take that with a grain of salt. Waitress was friendly and attentive, made sure our needs were taken care of. We ordered the deep fried pickles to start , they were piping hot , crispy and the oil was clean. She ordered the chicken Alfredo dish and I the Schnitzel Cubano. I had a few bites of hers and it was fantastic , rich , generous sauce , pasta was cooked nicely. My sandwich was just ok flavour wise , bread was nicely toasted and buttered and I think it’s just personal preference but I would order something else when I come back. We split the deep fried cheese cake which came with generous amounts of whipped cream and home made strawberry jam. It was delicious but very hard and messy to eat. Overall I’d rate it a 4.5 out of 5 , would recommend for an ok priced night out. A side note , I drank a Stella which was offered in Stella glass but they do not have it on tap so you’re buying a bottle which doesn’t quite make it to the fill line on the Stella glass. No issue with me but just thought I’d mention it if people take their beer...
