I was greeted at the register by an unfriendly, seemingly unhappy employee who took my order of a large steep tea with 2 milk and 1 sugar, a large orange pekoe tea with just one bag in and 1/2 milk and 1/2 sugar both with double cup and an english muffin with egg and cheese. She entered it in wrong which I caught and corrected her before the order was placed. When she made the tea, she made one wrong which I ended up fixing myself. The bagged tea was over an inch from the top of the cup making it closer to a medium than a large and both bags were used. So I stood there waiting for my English muffin. Melanie (the name of the employee who was unfriendly and unaccommodating) served three more people as I stood there waiting without asking why. THREE people were served sandwiches that ordered after me and I was still standing there without anyone doing anything about my order. I finally asked the food maker where my sandwich was and she said nothing was on the board. I saw it on the order screen and paid for it, so I know it was ordered. Melanie again stood there doing nothing about the order she had taken from me. Finally the girl preparing the sandwich made it and gave it to me without any word of apology for the 15 minutes I stood there waiting for my order in total. No offer of a free coffee for the mistake. No, sorry for the wait. No sorry for the mistake. Just here ya go and that was that. It may be the worst I have even been treated as a customer in a Tim Hortons and I don't normally write novels complaining about things like this, but the entire experience this morning was terrible. Melanie is one of the most unfriendly employees I have ever come across and someone should have a talk with her about her customer...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed with the service I received at the Tim Hortons located at 3 Surgeon Drive. I visited on Monday at 7:30 pm and placed my order at the drive-thru. The employee taking my order at the speaker was extremely rude and unprofessional. This is not the level of customer service one expects, especially from a brand like Tim Hortons. I am well aware of what good hospitality entails, and this experience fell far below acceptable standards.
The staff member, a girl of average height wearing transparent spectacles, showed no respect or courtesy. When she mentioned that my voice was not audible, her tone was unnecessarily rude. She could have informed me calmly and professionally, as I’ve experienced at other Tim Hortons locations. Her behavior made it evident that she was not taking her job seriously, and her rudeness reflects poorly on the overall service at this branch.
While I understand that working in such an environment can be challenging and that not every day is perfect, employees must remain calm and treat customers with respect. Customers are paying for the service and expect to be treated with dignity. This lack of professionalism not only affects customer satisfaction but also tarnishes the reputation of your brand. If such behavior persists, it will drive customers away, myself included.
I urge you to address this issue with your staff and emphasize the importance of hospitality and customer service. A polite and respectful attitude goes a long way in ensuring customer loyalty and satisfaction. Please ensure your employees are trained to handle customers appropriately, even on...
Read moreI go to Tim Hortons when I'm away from home and unable to have breakfast or lunch or something like a coffee and the treat to snack on, so I stop at Tim Hortons however the service sometimes is unbelievably slow, the portions they sell are very small portions the price is high and I will let you know of an example here that I've experienced more than four times I wasn't even going to say anything but that I have the opportunity to say it I'm going to say it if you order a breakfast sandwich like a bacon egg and you normally comes with a cheese I don't like the cheese that they use it's a processed cheese and I don't eat it so I asked for a slice of tomato instead they will charge me the actual price of the cheese plus an extra dollar for the tomato what's an outrageous price for a small piece of bread with an egg and a tomato and one slice of bacon cutting two little pieces to fit the bread, so I don't have a very nice review of Tim Hortons plus they also put in their cards if you notice to donate to children's camp and they take it out of your points now that is uncalled forno I do not agree with that if they want to be recognized and given a nice credit because they're doing something good for the community they should do it out of their own pocket not out of the customer's pocket it's okay to put in front of the store or ask customers if we want to donate but when it goes to the children that actually are being gifted they don't say the customer's that in part the Tim Hortons customers have donated towards the children's camp, and they sponsor some children sports activities to get free...
