Desilicious Downtown — Restaurant in Barrie

Last night we had dinner there and the only thing which was good was her talks Too less quantity and too much rate on top of it we ordered dal Pakwan which is our native dish they gave us! Puri instead of pakwan. Not enough for food for even 2 people to get served and prices are for large dishes The containers for packaging they provide is large but the quantity of food they serve is extremely solve Not all happy with the food! Not at all satisfied with the quantity of food they provided And regarding taste it was not at all authentic as their name suggest. Food was not up to the mark! And I wouldn’t recommend them at all!! The food was not as good as it was earlier. When the restaurant was newly opened indian food was not so much missed because it actually meant the authentic indian cuisine but now it is not. The service is also so slow. I'm so disappointed with the service of desilicious this time. You guys have to improve a lot or i should recommend that change your chefs please. I ordered tandoori chaap. First of all it was having gravy i don't know why? And secondly the gravy tasted like shahi paneer gravy. Do let me know why? We don't come to a restaurant for eating such below average food. Please change your staff it's really slow or ask them...

"Service with a Smile" is what I'll start my feedback with. I had arranged a trip of 50 seniors to Blue Mountains and booked Desilicious Downtown for a late lunch. Unfortunately we were really late and our lunch became a dinner. The owner Karan assured no problem and he really meant it. Even though we were really late yet we were greeted by the other owner Preeti as if we were their own family. Not only the food was magically served hot, they added at least 2 extra dishes and 2 additional drinks at no cost to us...super amazing. 5 stars for the food and 5 stars for the service.
