One of the worst experiences I've ever dealt with from a pizza franchise. Was called racist and the store lied about handling a situation all together. I placed an order for food online and paid ahead of time, When the driver showed up he Would not release the food unless we paid and we had to prove that the order was already paid for. Once the food was handed over it was a box set that required dips that were missing, the driver said he forgot the dips and would be right back with them. If they were driver returned within 5-10 minutes I would have been fine, instead a half hour closer to 45 minutes goes by before the driver returns with the dips. By that time the food is cold and soggy, and I was on the phone complaining about how much was spent in order for the meal to be eaten cold waiting for the driver to return with the dips. The lady from the help center was really great and said she would replacement the meal and understood. She asked that I give them the cold meal and that They would replace it with a fresh one.
About a half hour goes by since this phone call and I decide to call back to see what was going on with the order. The gentleman on the phone informs me that the store says that they had already replaced the order. I proceeded to tell the gentleman that that was untrue. I was still sitting there with the original cold meal and the bag of dips that were dropped off, but there was no replacement meal. He said he would contact the store and in the process I believe accidentally hung up. I contacted back at this point. Being very frustrated at the situation, I proceeded to tell the next gentleman on the phone. Everything that happened. He contacted the store and the store again told this gentleman that they had already replaced the meal and they were sitting there holding the original meal. Now this again is a lie as I'm still sitting here typing this message with the cold meal beside me. When I explain to the gentleman that the store was lying and I explained the whole process how the meal was delivered. The dips were delivered but there was no replacement made and how I made the phone call. He proceeded to escalate the call to someone else. Again, I explain the whole situation to this gentleman who again was very helpful. He contacted the store who again lied to him. They proceeded to tell him that they had replaced the meal that they were sitting there on a cold meal. They had already dealt with the situation and that we were yelling, racial slurs and making racist comments to the driver while he was dropping off the food. We proceeded to tell the gentleman that this was a lie. There was never a comment made. We were nothing but polite in thanking them for delivering everything. A little upset at the situation but in no circumstance. Was there any name calling, racism or bigotry.
I believe the store should be well reviewed seeing as the blatantly lied about order replacements and then to try cover their mistakes, They try using racism in order to try and make their case seem believable.
I think pizza pizza should review all the phone calls and conversations that were made that evening in regards to the situation to see how the staff handled everything as well as to see how I was dealing with it.
Thanks to the gentleman on the phone, he did give us a refund for the meal but that was 3 hours after an order was placed, The store then refused to come back out to rectify their mistake.
I think it's very unprofessional of this store to handle the situation the way that they did as well as to be calling customers racist for no reason.
Very unprofessional and I don't think anybody should order from this store again after treating people this way.

I recently had an alarming and disappointing experience with Pizza Pizza that left me questioning their commitment to customer safety and service.
Safety Concern Ignored I ordered a pizza with the contactless delivery option, specifically requesting that the delivery driver not ring the doorbell to avoid disturbing my household. Despite this clear instruction, the driver not only rang the bell multiple times but also knocked loudly on the door, waking and frightening everyone inside, including young children. This blatant disregard for customer instructions is not only unprofessional but also raises serious safety concerns, especially in situations where contactless delivery is preferred for health reasons.
Customer Service Failure When I contacted Pizza Pizza's call center to report the issue, I was met with indifference and refusal to help. The first representative dismissed my complaint outright, and after asking to speak with a supervisor, I was put on hold for an unreasonably long time. Upon calling back, the second representative also consulted with a supervisor who refused to provide any form of compensation for the distressing experience. This lack of accountability and responsiveness from customer service is unacceptable.
Call to Action If you value your safety and expect competent customer support, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere for your pizza needs.
