Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Barrie

Bad customer service at Mr Sub at 222 Mapleview dr w in Barrie. Not friendly. Dropped my 16 yr old at hockey practice, went and ordered 2, 12” subs (approx $28). Assorted for me, meatball for my son. Instructed gentleman to make my son’s meatball sub 20 minutes after mine, to insure freshness when I picked him up after hockey practice. Instructed server plain meatball on white, no cheese, just bun and meat. This is what I always get my son as he does not like toppings/condiments. Picked up sub, drove to pick my son up (15 minutes away) and there was cheese melted on the meatball sub. Took the sub back, gentleman was not friendly, no apology given, he tried telling me he asked about the cheese. He even took the old sub and threw in garbage. I’m sorry, but this is terrible Customer Service. How about “I’m sorry sir, keep that sub and I will make you another” as opposed to taking the old sub, not responding, no apology, in fact he appeared quite perturbed and tried to tell me I did not instruct him No Cheese. I’m sorry, but the customer is always right! I guess this location does not believe in good customer service! Will...

I go here every time we leave town and it's usually my favorite place to eat but was slightly disappointed this time. The 6 inch sub i got was definitely smaller then half a foot long. Was looking forward to it, and should have taken a pic but didn't have my phone on me. The service was friendly and profeasional , the staff member was very polite and knowledgeable, but the portion of my sub "6 inch " sub was sadly dissapointing. Maybe the other guy who came first got 8 inches of thefoot long, idkbut o was still hungry after my order and that has NEVER happened before. As this is my number 1 place to go to for a 'fast food' meal, I'm sorry to say, Mister Sub will not be my go to anymore. Even the hubby said the actual portion of meat on his club was not like it was last time we were here I understand inflation and the market and all that. But $35 for a. Foot long, a six inch and 2 drinks, is ridiculous when you leave...

Additional training desperately needed for staff/owners? of the mapleview location. My wife got tuna, turns out they don't blend mayo with the tuna, just dry tuna from the can with mayo squeezed on top. When questioned about it they said most Mr. Subs make it this way... What!!? I got Louisiana chicken and the way the toppings were oriented was completely wrong. He assembled the sub with toppings and sauces then threw piles of dry lettuce on top of everything. The bread was completely stale. I noticed there were bags on-top of bags of bread in the bread box, I can only assume that he was using up all the day old bread before breaking into a fresh bag. I will stay loyal to mr.sub but will NEVER go back to...
