Oh man this place has gone downhill. Easily the worst fastfood at the mall now.
I donât even know where to start.
Their cooler is broken and all drinks are semi cold at best. Multiple complaints wonât get them to fix it. But now, with prices the way they are, Iâm paying 4 dollars for warm soda.
While Iâm standing waiting for my food, a lady comes back saying her chicken was still raw. Personally, this has happened on two occasions prior (but usually at the Park Place location, which is why we donât go there) so I always ask to over cook the chicken. But come on! They still canât consistently cook chicken. They should be utilizing a food thermometer at this point.
So the lady with the raw chicken decides to wait but instead of them making her a new meal, the worker scrapes it off and cooks it longer.
So the lady working finishes a different momâs order in front of me and the customer asks for teriyaki sauce on the side. The worker states she can do it for an extra charge. In what world is putting sauce on the side an extra charge? These chicken dinners are over 20 dollars now. The customer had a baby eating the rice and wanted the sauce on the side. There shouldnât even have been a question there. She paid for that sauce when she bought the meal.
In the meantime my chicken is stringy and Iâm sketched out. I picked it off, deciding not to spend my night stuck over a toilet.
Their portion sizes have decreased and I know head office thinks people donât notice, but they do.
These are not standards that should be acceptable and it sucks being a Karen but unless more people are vocal about these ridiculous food practises nothing is going to change.
Attached is a photo of the grisly chicken. I didnât touch it. But thatâs the quality coming down the...
Read moreIâve honestly never felt the need to leave a review like this before, but my experience at this restaurant this week was so unbelievably bad that I have to say something.
First of all, the food had absolutely no flavor. It was bland, mushy. Bro it wasnât even fully cooked. I didnât realize this until after eating it, and now Iâm paying the price - bad food poisoning.
As if the food wasnât bad enough, the wait times are just ridiculous. I waited far longer than anyone should have to for a meal that wasnât even worth a fraction of the price I paid. Speaking of which, how the hell are you charging $7 for a basic 500ml bottle of water??? Thatâs highway robbery. Itâs not some premium spring water; itâs the same thing I could get for a dollar anywhere else.
As y'all can see from other reviews itâs clear that this restaurant has serious safety and hygiene issues. The patterns of undercooked food, cross-contamination, and lack of basic cleanliness are alarming. Where are the health inspectors? They need to step in and shut this place down before more customers end up sick or worse.
This place is a joke. Avoid this place...
Read moreThis is a total scam!
I recently visited this place, and a woman who wasnât wearing a cap, hairnet, or any uniform took my order. She was playing on her phone and didnât wash her hands before handling the food. I ordered a pineapple chicken and the cheapest 500ml water youâd typically find in a grocery store. I was in a rush, so I didnât pay attention to the prices at the time. However, I noticed the chicken she served was oddly dry, had an orange tint, and smelled strange. There were even flies in the store!
When I got home, I saw that they charged me extra for pineapple, which I never asked for! I am pretty sure that the pineapple chicken cost the same as the Teriyaki Chicken on the menu! On top of that, instead of the regular water I ordered, she ordered something called âEvianâ, which I had no idea about, and it cost $6.98! This is ridiculousâwhat kind of 500ml water costs $6.98? Iâve been to the Teriyaki Experience in South Barrie, and a bottle of 500ml water there is only $2 or $2.50. By the way, the water I got was the 500ml water, not something called Evian.
I will NEVER...
