Absolutely terrible experience.

I would avoid this restaurant at all costs.

I'd like to say that the wait staff was very nice and welcoming, but the rest of the experience was terrible.

Let me cut to the chase. I ordered a warm spinach salad. What I got was so disgusting it removed my appetite completely. To start the bowl was barely half full, it looked like it was the dregs of whatever was left in the kitchen. The chicken was pale and slimey looking, and the whole dish was floating on a solid inch of what I assume was salad dressing and cooking liquid. It smelled vaguely of lemons and vinegar, and used cooking water. I've included a picture for reference, I want to emphasize that is very nearly how the dish was served to me. It was the most unappetizing thing I have ever been served.

Normally I detest sending food back, I avoid it and chose to suffer my choices, but I wanted this thing off the table.

The waitress was very nice and said she could understand why I didn't want to eat it and that she would get the manager.

The manager never appeared, never apologized, never even sent a message through the waitress. In fact the waitress actively avoided our table for the rest of the night until it was obvious that the other diner's plate needed removal. I don't blame the waitress, if a manger refused to deal with a problem at a table, I'd be ashamed too.

When the bill eventually came, they had the decency to remove the salad from the bill, but didn't even apologize for the experience. I am shocked and will be avoiding Kelsey's from this point forward. Many better...

Normally I’m a big fan of this location, and this chain in general, but my last visit was not great.

My husband and I went on Thursday, wing night I know. I understand it was busy, but we were less than pleased with the service we received.

Our waitress came to the table - didn’t introduce herself or say hi - just straight up asked us what we wanted to drink. I didn’t find her very friendly at all. Our waitress didn’t even bring our meals to the table, someone else did. She walked by quickly and asked if everything was fine…which it was. BUT my main issue here is that when we received the bill our waitress put the bill on our table, with the debit terminal on top of it (said nothing to us by the way) and walked away.

We had a partial payment with gift cards, and my husband ended up having to figure out how to input the gift cards himself, and then pay the rest of the bill with debit. Our waitress never came back to thank us, or say anything for that matter…so once the payment was done, we got up and left. Walking towards the entrance I then see our waitress go over to the table to grab the machine.

Maybe that’s normal to some people, but to me it’s not. She gave us subpar service - and that’s being generous - throughout the whole interaction, and the ending just was over the edge. I’m not sure why she did what she did, and left us to do part of her job, but it left a very bad taste in my mouth, and I hope that next time we visit this location we do not have the same server. Being busy is not an excuse for poor customer service.

I am not sure what happened in the past 2-3 months to this place, the kitchen has gone seriously down hill. We have been regulars as this is my sons favourite restaurant to go to, we are there almost weekly sometimes. We haven’t been in a bit due to the holidays, vacation etc. Tonight’s service was terrible. We waited about an hour for our food, one of my family members ordered the fish and chips and his food came 15 mins after everyone else’s. I ordered the 1/2 pan nachos and asked for no beans or onions as I have food sensitivities, of course my order came covered in onions and beans. I asked the server for a replacement and she happily brought them back to be replaced. I waited another 25 mins for the re-fire so at this point the rest of my family had finished eating and my son was getting tired so I asked the server to just put them in a take out container and I would take them to go. The manager did comp my nachos which I thought okay perfect that was nice of them to correct their error. Silly me though I didn’t check my nachos until I had arrived home, sure enough nachos were covered in onions again. They went straight in the trash and I just had to eat some toast for my dinner. Needless to say I am not impressed and they just lost themselves some of their regulars. I am not sure where the manager Jeff has been too but personally I feel the service has gone downhill since he hasn’t been around.
