Went there to pick up a Too Good To Go. I counted 6 people working there ). There was one person being served. I was the only person in line, not including drive thru. After having served the customer in front of me it took several minutes before the cashier called me over. I said hello, no response. The expression on her face was as though she was being held against her will. I explained that I was there to pick up Too Good To Go, and showed her the app. She responds by gesturing with her head over her shoulder, annoyed I said "what?" she again simply gestures over there with her head. I proceed to walk over to where I think she was talking about, and there's a sign there for delivery drivers e.g. uber, door dash, etc. There was a worker mopping the floor. The worker does not acknowledge me, proceeds to put down the mop, wash her hands and then starts putting together an order in front of me, the whole time not having acknowledged me or asked me how can she help. After having put together this order, she seals the bag and pushes it in front of me, no words. I ask her "what's this?" She responds "Uber". I said I'm not Uber and I'm here to pick up Too Good To Go and now show her the app. She immediately apologizes and proceeds to get my order. She apologized once again as I grabbed the order and left. I get that can be a difficult job. That does not excuse treating people like they're an inconvenience. If someone says hello, acknowledge it, find out why the customer is there. While waiting I counted I believe 6 employees at one time working there and the service was incredibly slow, with several of them looking like they were just doing some look busy work. Whoever owns/manages this Tim's should really do some...
Read moreTwo stars because the lady at the drive through yelled at us. My dad, who’s an immigrant from communist russia and germany (where he moved after the fall of the soviet union) was the one ordering for us, two of his kids and my boyfriend. He has an accent admittedly but no one has ever had any problems with it since it’s fairly light. Food is always great at tim hortons, but service not so much. We rolled up to the electric board to order and were greeted with silence. Around 5 minutes pass and my dad asked “Hello?” and we hear a “just a minute!” okay, fine. we wait and she comes back to take our order and we order two sausage breakfast sandwiches on cheese croissants. “we have no more.” “how about plain?” “yeah we have no more. (she gets a little louder)” so we order something else to put our sausage breakfast sandwiches on. My dad keeps ordering and interrupts him every 5 seconds to say “I cant understand you!” slowly we order what we want until we get to the mango starfruit infusr. If you don’t know, these come in cans. We order it and she goes “WHAT SIZE? S.I.Z.E.” and then gets mad at me when I roll down my window and tell her that “THERE IS NO SIZE IT COMES IN A CAN.” they have the infusr posted on a separate board to show it off and it comes in a can. she goes “FIRST OFF, DO NOT YELL AT ME.” as if she wasnt yelling and being quite patronizing. Anyways we get our food and we have to ask again for the infusr and our farmers wrap, where we left out egg and sauce, was ripped as if we stuffed it until it couldn’t hold anymore....
Read moreI live right down the road and my housemates and I go to this timmies almost daily. It has been over a year of this now, no matter what, every single time we go we have had an issue. Whether it’s the staff being rude and speaking to each other in another language right in front of us, to them huddled around not doing their job and the lines get back up, or the most common one, our orders are almost NEVER right. I get a cold brew black with oat milk. I almost always get the sweetener added even though I ask for it without. Sometimes I don’t even get oat milk. My hubby gets a cafe mocha double double, and it’s rare they get it right. He will either get a mocha, or the double double. Not doesn’t matter how we try and say it, there is always at least 1 of our drinks that is not correct. I used to work for Tim Hortons. I know this is not acceptable, and I know it is not that hard to read the drink order and fill it. The people at this store decide that they don’t understand the English of what they are being asked and instead of asking for help they make the drinks however they feel like. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can understand getting a drink wrong once and a while. But to get at least 1 drink wrong in an order that comes EVERY DAY is unacceptable. The manners of most of the staff is unacceptable. Overall just not happy with how downhill tim hortons as a company is going. This is absolutely unacceptable and I know it happens at more than just this one. Learn your job. Make the drinks the right way. It’s...
