Worst experience I’ve had in a long time. First, waitress took 15 mins to even come to the table. She was rude, uninterested and cold. My toddler was saying hi to her and saying hi I’m 4 years old, and she just looked at her dead in the face and said nothing. Second, I asked for pizza under the cheese on my pizza and she was so snarky and rude for no reason. My husband asked for nachos. She said do you want sour cream or salsa. He said both. She said no, you only get one. What? It’s nachos.
The garlic fingers had less than a handful of cheese.
My child asked for the doggy pizza. She got the cat one but it had already been 40 minutes, we convinced her it was a dog just so we didn’t have to wait any longer.
My salad had rotten lettuce. My moms salad had no chicken, she had to take it out back to add the chicken half way through..
Forgot drinks for everyone.
People all around us getting up and leaving because she just never came back ..
Cavendish has been a terrible experience in general because everyone is cranky, not friendly and just doesn’t want to be there, however this restaurant experience was the worst one I’ve had. 10/10 do...
Read moreRetaining fond memories of the restaurant from childhood, it really felt as if we were really let down.
Service, honestly, was one of the worst I've experienced. After being seated, we were left to wait 15 minutes for anyone to service us; food, drink, starter, or side...
After our order was taken, it took an additional 45 minutes of waiting before my father grew so impatient, he had to ask a waitress to, at the least, bring our salads.
As for the food itself, it was hit-miss. My mother and brother's dishes were fine, but my father's shrimp dish was overcooked, and my Hawaiian was bland and unfortunately forgettable.
I assume it's not the staff's fault though. Through everything, they still are very friendly and I believe the issue is that they're simply understaffed. Reading another review describe this issue as a multi-year problem for the restaurant, it's unfortunate that nothing has been done about it.
If you're looking to eat, then possibly consider other options. However, if you're looking for a job opportunity, I believe their friendly staff would greatly appreciate another...
Read moreWe recently visited Pizza Delight and had a mixed experience. We ordered a vegetarian pizza, which was above average, with a decent amount of toppings and a well-cooked crust. The nachos, however, were a highlight—crispy and loaded, definitely one of the best we've had in a while. The Shirley Temple was good, and the beer selection was decent as well.
The atmosphere at Pizza Delight was lively, and you could see the chefs working hard in the open kitchen. They’re definitely doing a great job on the food front.
Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our server, Lisa Mosher, was a bit unwelcoming and came across as rude. She asked us to clarify trivial and obvious things, which made the interaction feel unnecessarily frustrating. While the food and ambiance were good, the service, especially from Lisa, needs improvement to match the overall quality of the restaurant.
In summary, great food, vibrant atmosphere, but the service could use some work. I also usually leave a generous tip at restaurants, but here my family and I agreed that it was...
