Poutine Plus — Restaurant in Bayview

Our experience started off with them trash talking other island eateries which was already not a great start from our point of view. Ordering our food went fine, however when we went to pick it up only a few minutes later they were yelling at us to come to the counter or else they would give away our food to someone else.

Upon sitting down I realized despite them writing down the proper order for myself (I could see the sheet of paper), they forgot to give me onion rings instead of fries. While at first they argued I didn’t pay for them despite it being written down, they did eventually give them to me and comp the price of the upgrade which they claimed I wasn’t charged for. In the process however they implied to guests around me it wasn’t a simple mistake, but that I wouldn’t/couldn’t pay for the food myself and they were stepping in offering to cover the cost.

Overall completely disappointed in how the staff interacted with us in what should have been a completely normal order, and even though a mistake was made we never argued and politely pointed it out. Certainly did not expect that...

The food there was great and the staff was too they even honored my special request of 3 different types of mat on my poutine it cost me $12 but the thing they gave me was massive, scrumptious and so incredibly flavourful, and despite being a fairly big guy at around 249 lbs it still took me 2 meals to eat all of it, it's insanely big 10/10 bang for your buck I would definitely recommend eating here, everybody loves the boardwalk and when your waiting for your family to finish shopping, it's the perfect place to relax with some good ol pure...

We’ve been going to Poutine Plus since they’ve opened! Everything on the menu is delicious, and the different poutines they offer are real authentic poutines - serving sizes are more than generous, food always comes out really fast even when they’re busy and the customer service is 10/10.
