Second Cup Café — Restaurant in Bedford

I ordered two regular coffees and a hot chocolate. I got the coffee right away and then stood for about 15 minutes waiting for the hot chocolate. After seeing so many people that came in after me leaving with their beverages, I decided to ask (politely) if my order got missed. The person making drinks asked what my order was and I told her and she said it’s up next. I waited another few minutes then she put it down without even making eye contact or apologizing for the delay. I took my drink and started to leave without saying thank you because I was extremely irritated to which she sarcastically said have a nice day ma’am. The coffees at Second Cup are always delicious. Anytime I visit Sunnyside Mall, I am tempted to stop at the cafe for a flavourful beverage. My one critique is that the mobile app seems not to be updated with the same information that the baristas receive. My last iced coffee was not made the way the mobile app described. Don't get me wrong, the coffee was still very good, just not prepared how the app read. I discussed the discrepancy with the barista, who was very friendly. She mentioned that the recipe that I showed her on the app is different than what they were told in the cafe. So maybe better communication is needed. In any case, this cafe is worth trying. I didn't have time in the morning, so I ordered coffee through my mobile. When I arrived, there were no other customers, yet the coffee I ordered wasn't ready even after some time had passed. The staff was just standing. Eventually, after waiting for a while, I had to approach them myself to inquire about my order.
