Carlos & Pepe's - Blainville — Restaurant in Blainville

We were visiting Mirabel from just outside Toronto with our son’s baseball team and stopped by Carlos and Pepe’s for takeout after a long day at the diamond. Even though it was close to 9pm, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Merrick, who took our orders and made us feel right at home.

While we waited, we decided to enjoy a drink at the bar; the cocktails were delicious and the service from both Merrick and the bartender was outstanding. Merrick took the time to chat with us, learn about what brought us to Mirabel, and made the whole experience feel personal and genuine.

The restaurant itself has a beautiful Mexican vibe; tastefully decorated and spotless. Our food was carefully prepared, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. It was exactly what we needed after a long day.

We’re from Durham Region and honestly wish a place like this existed in our community. We’d love to see Carlos and Pepe’s expand; we’d be regulars for sure! If you’re anywhere near Mirabel, do yourself a favour and check this place out....

Absolutely Excellent Experience at Carlos & Pepe’s!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a huge smile and a warm welcome—it instantly set the tone for the evening.

Our server, Milena, was absolutely phenomenal—one of the best I’ve ever had! She checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal, always with a cheerful attitude. Milena took the time to understand our dietary restrictions and suggested the perfect menu options that worked for us. Her attentiveness, kindness, and genuine care truly made the experience exceptional.

She came to our table several times, making sure we were happy and comfortable. Milena really made us feel like valued guests, and the rest of the staff were just as warm and friendly.

The atmosphere was lively and welcoming , the food was delicious with huge portions, the drinks were fantastic, and the music added a fun vibe to the whole experience.

Highly recommend Carlos & Pepe’s for great food, great service, and...

UPDATE: 2nd visit june 2022. Got worst... terrible steak in enchiladas and burritos. Feels like it's been boiled!!! and totally blend. Lack of taste overall. Poor imitation of tex/mex food. Failed Marguaritas (VERY expensive limonade @ $50 for 4-glass pitcher. Do yourselves a favor and pick better ones in Boisbriand or St-Eustache. On the bright side, the reservation system and the service has improved...

2020: Very bad 1st dining experience at this restaurant. I had so much hope for this nearby restaurant... I love the Montreal one, but the Blainville menu is a run-down version, with inadequate service and ordinary food. Reservations. "don't care" attitude! Poor start... Service. (2 stars). Food (1 star). Tiny portions. The kid's mac&cheese was probably the best plate served... We have very few good tex/mex offers in the laurentians... and this one doesn't...
