Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Bradford West Gwillimbury

It's weird. I gave this place a good review because it's part Mr sub and part country style. I've never had an issue getting a bagel or breakfast sandwich etc. But man.... The Mr Sub. I went in today to use coupons I had and because they didn't have a barcode scanner they said they couldn't be used. There was a code that could be typed in as well, but the manager was adamant it must be scanned. I wasn't even that upset about it to be honest, but it sucked paying full price. I decided to order anyways, what can you do. I am ordering and ask for honey mustard sauce. They said they don't have any.... Previously I went there and they had no pepper sauce for the pepper chicken. Why don't they have ingredients? Pushing to pay full price and then not providing the options that are the most basic. I'm trying to buy Canadian, I am. But this time I just decided to go to Subway instead and get on with my day. I went to this country style during the Santa Claus Parade in Bradford. It was pretty much the busiest I've ever seen a coffee shop and they were processing orders through two tails + letting people walk through the drive through window. I had to go through twice as I forgot a coffee the first time I went through and never did I wait more than 5 minutes.

Even under extreme stress the staff held up well and process orders quickly and efficiently. I didn't notice anybody getting wrong orders and the only frustration that I saw any customers go through with with debit system being slow that day. Not the employees fault.

Well I'm not a huge fan of their coffee, the apple cider that I ordered was fantastic and everybody else seemed to enjoy the hot chocolate that they got. We also got a dozen assorted cookies and everybody love those as well.

I didn't have a chance to check out the facilities but I would imagine with the number of people visiting the restaurant that night it wouldn't be a fair representation of their normal...

On 11/18/24, I visited this location to claim my free birthday sub, but was not honored the offer. I showed the worker the email, and she prepared the sub and brought it to the register. However, the manager refused to give me the sub, stating that the location didn’t have a scanner to scan the email. I explained multiple times that the email didn’t require a scanner, and even showed my ID to verify my claim. Despite this, the manager dismissed me and directed me to another location with a scanner. When I pointed out that the sandwich had already been made, he said he would either throw it away or eat it himself. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing that he didn’t take the time to listen to me. This was a complete waste of my time, and I won’t be returning to this location.
