Today I had the worse experience with this restaurant. I order from Baghlan every week and unfortunately the service has been declining recently. On my latest order over the phone person, when my partner went to pick up the order we asked about sauces we were only given 4 sauces for 3 meals. We typically receive 2 sauces per meal when ordering at Baghlan every time we have ordered for the last 6 months and were disappointed when our cashier (who I believe is named Muskan) declined. My husband picked up our order and left without checking the 2 food bags. By the time he got home we realized that one of the salads from the meal was missing. We called the restaurant and talked to a person named Muskan to tell her the salad was missing and she ACCUSED us of LYING about the missing salad. She said she “bagged the order herself” and that our complaint is not valid because “we are trying to make her look bad” which is incredibly unfair and rude on her part. My husband and I are extremely disappointed and hurt with the business practice of insulting a loyal and honest customer, despite being respectful in person and while calling from home. We were also charged for an extra naan bread that we did not receive, and we did not realize until we got home. I really hope the restaurant manager approaches their employees regarding things unacceptable like this. I attached pictures of my meal, my receipt and history of Uber eats orders to show that I frequently order from this restaurant and that when I share this review it comes from someone who is honest and was a loyal customer. We are beyond disappointed and will definitely share the word with our friends and family who are frequent guests, regarding how my husband and I were...
Read moreLet me just start off by saying that this isn't even the dish that we wanted to order. They didn't have the one we wanted so we had to choose something else. Usually I am very open to trying other things so let's just put that aside.
The food was okay, not quite satisfying. The fact that I got an allergic reaction does not even reflect the rating I'm giving. The rating reflects a couple of things: the overabundance of rice, the excessive amount of coriander in the salad (I love coriander but not to this extent) it didn't even taste like a salad at that point. The Chapli kabob was a little hard as well. Another thing to mention is that we got ONE naan for TWO seperate orders. We also got ONE little container of sauce for BOTH of the dishes. You can only imagine how dry the food was for us.
I am not even speaking from a point of greed because I had no issues sharing half a naan and sauce with the other person I got this food with. But the fact that we were staying open minded and yet nothing was able to bring us to a point of neutrality? Sad.
If you are really hungry, this place can still be an option. Although I couldn't even finish it and I was hungry. I don't usually give negative reviews but there were a lot of let downs here. The unfortunate part of this is that I've been excited to try this place for about a year now. I'm going to go elsewhere next time, which probably doesn't matter because places like these will always have their loyal friends to keep them afloat. Maybe it was a bad day for them, but this is my honest and forgiving review about...
Read moreI come here all the time, at least once every other week to get my family food. Last week we got a big platter for family day and paid an extra 8.99$ for an extra Tikka kabob. The platter ordered came with 4 kofta, 1 tandoori, 1 tikka, one jouja, two chaplee kabob and the sides. When we opened our contained we were missing the extra tikka kabob and we called right away to be told it was there. I am disappointed in the dishonesty and poor customer service as I enjoy the food there and spend a lot of money here, they should have offered it for next time I come in or I could have drove back 15 minutes to get in despite the inconvenience considering I PAID for it. When a customer spends money in a place often they shouldn’t be treated this way when an honest mistake occurs, because truly in the end it would have been more inconvenient for me to go back than for them to give me what I paid for. Other than this experience the food is great, although it is comparable to other kabob places in the area and I’ll re consider where I go next time due to this event. I’ve posted a photo of what our meal looked like when we opened it (minus three pieces of kabob taken out for my kids) as my “proof”. The stars are...
