I recently ordered from Baker's Jerk Jamaican Restaurant through SkipTheDishes, and let me tell you, it was an experience that brought a taste of Jamaica right to my doorstep! From the moment I placed my order, I could feel the excitement building. The menu was filled with authentic Jamaican dishes that made it tough to choose, but I finally settled on the fried and BBQ chicken, paired with rice and peas.
When my food arrived, the aroma hit me like a wave of Caribbean sunshine. The fried chicken was perfection—golden and crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Each bite was bursting with that classic Jamaican flavor, seasoned just right with spices that made my taste buds dance. The BBQ chicken was equally impressive, smothered in a rich, smoky sauce that added a delightful kick. It truly captured the essence of what Jamaican BBQ is all about.
Now, let’s talk about the rice and peas! Cooked to fluffy perfection, it was infused with coconut milk, giving it a creamy richness that complemented the chicken beautifully. The peas added a nice bite, and the whole dish was so filling. The portion sizes were generous, making it a fantastic value for the price.
Ordering through SkipTheDishes was a breeze. My food arrived hot and well-packaged, ensuring everything was in great condition. The delivery driver was friendly and efficient, which added to the overall positive vibe of the experience.
In summary, my experience with Baker's Jerk Jamaican Restaurant was nothing short of amazing. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the convenience of ordering through SkipTheDishes made it all the better. If you’re craving some authentic Jamaican flavors, do yourself a favor and order from Baker's Jerk—you...
Read moreI only eat white meat and bakers is the only place I find that they carry jerk breast. My daughter ordered a large goat meat with coleslaw and a large jerk breast. Once we got home and opened it my jerk breast was dark meat and my daughters coleslaw was pasta. We called and they wanted me to return the food. Unfortunately I live an hour away so she told me to bring it back the next day. The food was for my dinner so I told the lady that I had to eat the rice because I had nothing else to eat. She told me to bring back the meat. The next day I totally forgot the chicken on the kitchen counter and I called her to tell her I couldn’t come because I forgot the chicken she said if you’re only bringing back the chicken don’t bother because there is nothing I can do with the chicken. ( my thought was what are you planning to do if I brought the whole meal serve it to someone else)? 🤔 A few days later my daughter called to go pick up my meal and the lady said I’m only getting the chicken replaced because I ate the rice. We spent at least 10-15 mins trying to explain to the lady that it was their error I have to waste my gas and time to go pick up something because your establishment made an error so why shouldn’t I get a whole meal. She was persistent that she was not giving me a full meal as it is their policy (not posted) to replace a meal without a meal. So the customer loses twice, once because they didn’t get they ordered and twice because you have to waste your time and gas. It’s a win win situation for Bakers. Needless to say I won’t be going back to Bakers Jerk because their customer service is subpar and they don’t know how to speak to...
Read moreIn response to your counter dated a week ago let me make myself clear..1. You did not give me free chicken I paid for a breast and you gave me dark meat so you HAD to replace it or give me a refund! Because I do not eat dark meat add this is NOT the first time you messed up as you already know. 2. As for the term long belly, for all who speak proper English that means “ I’m greedy”. How am I greedy when all I wanted was for you to replace my full meal instead of you just giving me the chicken breast. I told you I was going to eat the rice bc it was for my dinner that night and at 9pm I wasn’t going to cook a meal because you messed up but you penalized me for eating the rice and just gave me the chicken. I live 1hr away from your establishment and although I work in Brampton I still had to drive 20min each way just pick up a chicken breast, so Let’s not talk about class. 3. As I told you! I would not be coming back to your restaurant because you are just about the bottom line not about your customers as anyone who reads your responses to reviews can see you never take accountability the customer is always wrong in your eyes. I would rather go to Flava Pot where they treat their customers with respect. Last but certainly not the least. You had your own conversation with my daughter, my daughter is an educated 33 yr old who makes up her own mind about her own Affairs and actually decided to post the review first. In closing if you actually took the time to listen to your customers instead of berating them you could probably learn a...
