barBURRITO — Restaurant in Brampton

This is regarding the service and not the food. Burrito we ate was fine but an incident happened at the store which is really disheartening. The moment we entered, the online order tablet alarmed for a new order and they accepted the order. We sat down after paying to eat our food and after like 2-3 mins the guy came to pick the order. The lady working in the front asked the delivery guy to give her few/five mins for it. The driver waited….there were couple of people in the restaurant to place their order. The delivery guy waited for more than 15 mins and one more time asked for the order. The guy told this delivery guy to cancel the order and that someone else will come to pick it up. The guy replied that then you should have let me know this when I came here which was like 15-20 mins but this burrito guy kept on saying no you cancel the order and even stated that “you can see there are customer in the store and you are not a customer” EXCUSE ME!! This is so wrong. Firstly, you should have not accepted the order if you don't have time to make it on time. Secondly, instead of asking the delivery guy to cancel the order, why don't you cancel it and take it on you since You did not make it. Lastly, he is working just like you, if your job and your in-store customers are YOUR priority, then his job and his customers are HIS priority. This is just very irresponsible and bad business, the way you treated this person and taking it out on him as if it was his fault that you couldn’t make the order on time. I have never been so offended by food in my life. I am writing this review after coming back from what I would have to say was the worst possible taco salad I have ever had in my life. I spent 8 bucks on this salad and it came out horrible and not well put together.

The meat was unbareably stale, old, flavourless and just slimy. The lettuce was a very chilly romain lettuce and corn and "salsa". I put "salsa" in quotations for two reasons:

The "salsa" was a pastey liquid that ran through the salad like the pus sliding out of a wound The "salsa" tasted like ketchup with water in it.

The whole combination of crappy (not even hot) chicken, flavourless vegtables and a unwelcoming paste called "salsa" left me wanting to vomit after the first bite.

And even if you think "Yea, sure you got a salad what did you expect", just realize the same toppings they used for my salad are the same they'll use in your burrito.

Everything was so underwhelming and offensive that I had to clean my mouth and stomach with a peanut butter and jam sandwich at home.

The Bar Burrito located outside of the mall (NOT INSIDE) - inside service is excellent. I arrived to this location in the evening Nov 8 - all the lights are out in this place even the inside is DIM. This older Asian lady claiming to be the Manager today when I called decided to make both of my Burritos without asking me if I would like extra toppings or beans/rice. She simply made them and when I asked, she responds well they are already made. I call today and a man answers, and before I can even continue he hangs up the phone. I call back and the same Asian lady answers and says can I help you and tell me the man that answers is in the washroom. This place needs new Management. They do not know anything about customer service or how to run a business. Extremely unprofessional - horrible attitude and no clue how to operate a "Mexican style" establishment.
