The tea selection was underwhelming. First Bubble tea place I've been to that didnt have a Taro slush which seems pretty standard. They did have a Taro latte which my girlfriend got. It was so bad that even I couldnt stomach it which is saying alot because I like Taro and can stomach even the grossest of things. My Pearl milk tea just tasted like tea with a bunch of honey. Nothing special.
More importantly, they could have been more attentive to COVID safety guidelines. When we walked in there were way more customers then there should have been standing in there. One of the workers didnt have a mask on at all for some time and when she finally put it on, it wasnt covering her nose. Another worker had a clear one which didn't cover his nose or mouth very well. He also would take it off while on the line to have a sip of his drink. Working in the fast food industry, its standard that you drink off of the line and you wash your hands after coming into contact with your mouth. We're in the middle of a pandemic and you're working in Peel so it was especially concerning to watch them.
All that being said, I wont go back and wouldnt reccomend going for any reason. They should have just kept Starbucks there..and thats saying alot because I don't...

Me and my partner were greeted by the cashier when entering and stood back to look at the menu for about 10 seconds when another two people walked into the store. They looked like they knew what they wanted to order so we told them they could go ahead. The cashier who greeted us then proceeded to rudely ask us to leave because they were at capacity. The cashier knew we had gotten there first and were trying to figure out the menu, but instead of asking the people who entered after us to wait outside insisted we did. I understand trying to follow social distancing guidelines but the cashier shouldāve asked the other two customers who entered after us to wait outside. Completely threw us off and we just ended up leaving. I believe the owner followed us out and realized we were there first and asked the other two customers to leave instead but at that point we were already uncomfortable from the cashier. Please pay attention to the amount of people in the store as it shouldnāt be the customers responsibility. Was really excited to try this store so it was super...
