This store needs to be audited or staff needs to be retrained. The customer service is sub par and food quality is unrecognizable from burrito Boyz brand.
This is the closest location to me. I've gone here several times and have always been disappointed. The order waittimes are always skewed from reality. Staff is untrained to recognize the preparation time until order completion. First few times I visited, I would be told to wait 10 min after placing order in store. Due to covid I'd be asked to wait outside, and after 10 min when I'd rewnter hoping to have my order ready, they would say another 10 min because there was a mis communication between the person taking the order vs the one preparing the order.
I've had this type of experience way too many times, so to get around this I'd prefer to call ahead if times to place the order. That has also not been successful as they hardly answer the phone, if they do they would rush you off the phone and you can sense your order is not heard in details as several times I've gotten toppings explicitly requested not to be in the burrito. And the overall taste is unrecognizable to burrito boyz I've grew up. Other locations are far superior in maintaining their quality.
Yesterday was a huge disappointment. I recognize there was a huge surge in demand at dinner time. I first tried to place the order online, my 3 different credit cards were not being accepted which I found unusual. I called the store to place the order at 8:40 and was again rushed off the phone and was asked to wait 20 min due to high in-store volume. I was ok with this. Called again at 9:00, was asked to wait another 10 min. Called again at 9:10, was asked to wait another 10 min. I requested they cancel my order at this time as it had been 30 min since placing the order. Got a call at 9:20 asking when I'll be coming to pick up the order.
This is one of many poor customer interactions I've had. I've given multiple chance to this location in hopes they will turn this behavior around. But it's evident that their success is driven by volume not quality of food or customer service.

Read moreLooks like the owner isn’t bothered in reading and responding the comments so this review is for the customers who might check the reviews before coming to this location. Service and food is absolutely pathetic. It wasn’t even busy this evening though it’s NY eve but still with enough staff, I don’t know the girl who was making the orders was in a rush.
The portion size is horrendous. Store owner and majority staff is Gujarati and doesn’t have an idea to cater the community. Only the cashier was semi polite in taking order (I say semi polite because there was no smile on the face, no welcome no thank you or no decency of responding to a happy new year wish that I said to her).
The order maker was just putting only bits of veggies with a small spatula that barely holds any portion. When asked about the portion, she just rudely said “our store owner told us to follow portion size and if customer asks then show them the portion chart” and then she pointed at the wall.
I order 4 naked bean burritos and I did not bloody pay 45$ for rice and lettuce. The order was a joke and when I said that it’s not consistent with the orders at other burrito boys locations, her response was “so what can I do”.
To the store owner: I understand that you’re favoring your community people by providing jobs to students and full timers even in this tough inflation, but it doesn’t mean that to pay their salaries, you’re stopping down in giving ridiculous portion sizes. The way I saw your girls making the order, it’s better that from next time I make it on my own and I am sure it will be better in portion size. At least, I’m gonna use better portion for guacamole and will not hit the scoop on the bin to level the tiny scoop of guacamole for which I paid extra money.
Tonight, you lost a customer because I’m not coming back to your location. Your store is a joke.
As a reference, I am attaching the photos of the order, where’s the cilantro, peppers, jalapeños? I just see only bits of them but lots of rice...
Read moreI have been a loooong time customer for this location, probably for years. I only order one item many times. As usually I repeated the same order and asked for swap cheese for guac. I took the order and went home. When I started eating I realized there is no guac in the bowl. Being a long time fan of their bowl , I just simply wanted to let them know that they forgot and so called them ( Apr 28 2025 10:20 pm ). The lady Veronica (don't trust if it's a real name ) spoke very rude and not even apologetic. She wanted me to send a picture . I wish I can send the picture but I had the food already. I told the lady that I am not expecting any replacement and I am just letting you know your service is not perfect this time. She is not ready to accept that she or her colleagues made a simple mistake. She kept on asking for photo that she don't want to believe me.
If you don't trust your customer and you think you are super perfect in everything that you do.. that's a start of your downfall. You don't need to be rude. Genuine mistakes can happen, just be apologetic and try to gain trust of your customer.
