Meltwich — Restaurant in Brampton

I order regularly from this place as I work at OCC for Air Canada 3 minutes drive from this place and never had issues before as the lady at the counter is very accommodating. I called at 21:50 to place an order and mentioned its for dine in. Upon arrival my order was not ready as they forgot to ask the toppings. The white lady who i believe is a new employee persuaded me to sit on a high stool and not on the table as she claimed that she just cleaned it. I told her that I told you over the phone that its a dine in order. The other Indian lady also started arguing with me and said that dine is open only until 10 pm which they should've told me over the phone. Zero stars for the Customer Service as I am not eating for free but paying for it. The skip the dishes guy was present too when all this happened. I even viped the table with the tissue before leaving so they don't have to clean it again. Respect your customers as you will not survive for long with this attitude. Having moved from Mississauga to Brampton recently, I noticed there was a real lack of halal burger places here. Seeing Meltwich as a halal option in Brampton, I decided to try it out. TLDR: it was AMAZING! It was my first time ever eating from there, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was immediately pleased by the reasonable pricing and the variety of options available. I ended up going for the Philly Cheese burger for myself, and the chicken strips for my little sister, and we were both in love! The restaurant put a sweet note on the bag for us (“Enjoy your meal :)”), the packaging was perfect, and the food was absolutely delicious! Some of the most flavourful chicken strips we’ve ever had, and the Philly Cheese burger was just right - not too big or cheesy to make you feel guilty afterwards, a good helping of steak bits, perfectly cooked through. This is a casual place with some bench and table seating. The staff are friendly and attentive. We tried the Godfather Grill Cheese Sandwich on sourdough, Philly Cheese Streak, onion rings, tater tots and a strawberry milkshake. We enjoyed all of it. The grill cheese was a good size and was evenly grilled with a nice blend of flavours. For the Philly i tried the buttermilk dill sauce but next time I think I'll try the BBQ sauce, or just mayo. The bun is soft and fresh, the meat tastes great with the mushrooms and onions. The onion rings were good, but I could have used few more. The tater tots were like hashbrown nuggets, there were plenty of those. The milk shake was decent and the small is a good size. Next time we'd like to try the coleslaw and maybe a grilled...
