Disappointed with Service and Communication
We visited Royal Paan Gore location yesterday after years, excited to finally have the Royal Falooda again. When I asked we need 2 rroyal flooda, the person at the counter mentioned it’s made with Rooh Afza. I said ok. But when I saw him pouring soft-serve ice cream from a swirl machine, I immediately stopped him and said I wanted the traditional version with rabri, not ice cream. His response? “It’s already made now.” No offer to fix it, no clarification beforehand, just a dismissive attitude.
I ended up ordering a third one with rabri, but this felt more like damage control than good service.
On top of that, there was no basic welcome or courtesy — no “hello,” no “how can I help you,” nothing. Just felt very transactional and rushed. What happened to basic customer service? A little communication and hospitality would go a long way.
Thanks for your reply, but let’s be honest — this wasn’t a “confusion on my part.” The confusion was in the lack of communication from your staff. If your “trademark” Royal Falooda always comes with soft serve, that should have been clearly mentioned when I asked. I specifically said I wanted the version with rabri, and the person at the counter didn’t explain the difference at all. Instead, when I interrupted before the item was even handed over, I was told “it’s already made” — as if I had no choice but to accept it.
That’s not good service. If a customer says something’s not what they asked for, the right thing to do is correct the order — not serve it anyway and later justify it with a response online just to protect your Google reviews.
If you really cared about customer satisfaction, this would have been handled better in the moment, not in a follow-up response to make it look like the customer was wrong. People come in to spend their money expecting a decent experience — not to be...

For instance, historical texts like Londiniana discuss the cultural significance of spices and culinary traditions in British history , which could parallel Royal Pan’s approach to blending global flavors.
Service here is reportedly attentive but occasionally slow during peak hours, a common issue in busy local restaurants. The staff’s warmth compensates for minor delays, much like the hospitality noted in historical accounts of London taverns and inns . The seating is comfortable, though the space could benefit from better ventilation to enhance the...
