Disappointed with Service and Communication

We visited Royal Paan Gore location yesterday after years, excited to finally have the Royal Falooda again. When I asked we need 2 rroyal flooda, the person at the counter mentioned it’s made with Rooh Afza. I said ok. But when I saw him pouring soft-serve ice cream from a swirl machine, I immediately stopped him and said I wanted the traditional version with rabri, not ice cream. His response? “It’s already made now.” No offer to fix it, no clarification beforehand, just a dismissive attitude.

I ended up ordering a third one with rabri, but this felt more like damage control than good service.

On top of that, there was no basic welcome or courtesy — no “hello,” no “how can I help you,” nothing. Just felt very transactional and rushed. What happened to basic customer service? A little communication and hospitality would go a long way.

Thanks for your reply, but let’s be honest — this wasn’t a “confusion on my part.” The confusion was in the lack of communication from your staff. If your “trademark” Royal Falooda always comes with soft serve, that should have been clearly mentioned when I asked. I specifically said I wanted the version with rabri, and the person at the counter didn’t explain the difference at all. Instead, when I interrupted before the item was even handed over, I was told “it’s already made” — as if I had no choice but to accept it.

That’s not good service. If a customer says something’s not what they asked for, the right thing to do is correct the order — not serve it anyway and later justify it with a response online just to protect your Google reviews.

If you really cared about customer satisfaction, this would have been handled better in the moment, not in a follow-up response to make it look like the customer was wrong. People come in to spend their money expecting a decent experience — not to be...

Royal Pan, located on Ebenezer Road in Brampton, offers a cozy dining experience with a menu that blends Caribbean and South Asian flavors. While the restaurant’s ambiance is modest, the vibrant decor and welcoming staff create a friendly atmosphere. However, the search results provided do not directly reference Royal Pan or its specific offerings, making this review a general assessment based on typical expectations for similar eateries.

The menu appears to focus on fusion dishes, such as jerk chicken roti and curry goat with naan, which are popular in Brampton’s diverse culinary scene. Dishes like these often rely on bold spices and fresh ingredients, though without specific details from the search context, it’s challenging to verify authenticity or standout items. For instance, historical texts like Londiniana discuss the cultural significance of spices and culinary traditions in British history , which could parallel Royal Pan’s approach to blending global flavors.

Service here is reportedly attentive but occasionally slow during peak hours, a common issue in busy local restaurants. The staff’s warmth compensates for minor delays, much like the hospitality noted in historical accounts of London taverns and inns . The seating is comfortable, though the space could benefit from better ventilation to enhance the...

Ambiance: Royal Paan offers a lively and vibrant atmosphere that transports you straight to the streets of India. The decor is colorful, with traditional Indian elements that add to the authentic feel. The seating is comfortable, though the space can get a bit crowded during peak hours.

Food: The star of the show is undoubtedly the paan, with a wide variety of flavors and fillings that cater to both traditionalists and those looking for something more adventurous. The ingredients are fresh, and the paan is skillfully prepared. The menu also includes a range of chaat, snacks, and desserts that are equally delightful.

Price: The prices are reasonable for the quality and authenticity of the food. It's a great place for a quick bite or a casual meal with friends and family.

Overall: Royal Paan is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Indian street food. Whether you're a fan of traditional paan or looking to try something new, this place is sure to satisfy your taste buds. Highly recommended for its flavorful offerings and...

Nothing out of the box. We were taking a walk after dinner at another restaurant and this seemed to have a catchy name and we wanted to give it a try. The moment we saw faluda as one of the options available we wanted to give it a try. It was ok (not bad but not outstanding) so I would say 3/5. My son opted for a mango kulfi. Now this is not made in-house but the sell ready made ones so I would say 3/5 again as nothing out of the box here. I took a hot coffee which was not good. I felt I should have taken a paan so would say 2/5 for coffee. I also agree with some other reviews that prices are on the higher side. Overall I would say 3/5 as nothing exceptional here basis what we tried. Will maybe try the paan next time.

I wish I could rate a negative experience.i specifically asked for no fennel since I'm allergic to fennel and they added loads of it. Not only that, for my other family members, the paan had nothing besides little bit of glukand coconut and loads of Saunf... Worst paans we have had to date. We use to go to this place every week but NEVER AGAIN. We even called them to tell them about our experience and the allergic reaction and they could not care any less. Sad and terrible customer service.
