I really wanted to give Gino’s Pizza a fair chance, so I tried it multiple times, hoping my first experience was just a one-off. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Each time, the pizza had the same disappointing quality—bland, dry, and frankly, it tasted like cardboard.
The last time I decided to give them a third chance, it was only because of their $7 medium pizza deal. Even at that price, it still wasn’t worth it. The pizza lacked any real flavor, and I’m not sure if the issue is with their sauce, but it was completely tasteless. The toppings looked fresh, which gave me some hope, but they had a strange aftertaste that made the whole experience even more unappetizing.
That said, their customer service at the store level is actually great. The staff is friendly, efficient, and I've never had an issue with how they handle orders. I just wish the pizza itself matched the quality of the service.
The one highlight for me is their garlic parmesan dipping sauce—it’s really good. But even that has its downside. The container is so small that once you hit the halfway mark, it’s nearly impossible to dip properly.
Overall, while I appreciate the good service, the pizza itself just isn’t worth it. There are much better options out there, even at a budget-friendly...
Read moreUsed to be great. Been coming here for years and have experienced the slow decline in everything. Biggest problem is they appear to be using curry or butter flavor chicken in all their chicken pizza topping options. 1st time I thought it was an accident but 2nd time must mean it's policy or customer demand in Brampton. If you buy a chicken pizza there expect your car to smell like curry. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day the single slice pizzas are almost always low in selection but, to be fair most places suffer the same problem. The pizzas are still filling but the crust and toppings aren't as juicy anymore. Wings are okay. I stopped buying dip years ago because they didn't seem to know what their own Cheddar Habanero dip was. "Cheddar" or "cheese" are 2 words they don't seem to understand (odd for a pizza place) and I usually had to point them to the orange colored dip as they always reached for Garlic claiming they don't carry cheddar dip even though it was right there. Maybe others complained because on my most recent visit I was offered dip for free, so not sure if it was because...
Read moreThis store stole my credit card information. BEWARE!!! Use CASH if purchasing from this location. Was my first time using my brand new gold credit card at this location only.
I was a regular customer at this store. I would go every Friday to purchase two large pizzas with three toppings on each. I usually order the pizzas online, then go in to pay and pick up the pizzas. I had my two babies in the car with me so I sent my Daughter in the store to pay for the pizzas with my credit card.
My daughter paid for the pizzas, then came out to the car to ask me if she can purchase a bottle of Pepsi, when she went back into the store to pay for the Pepsi she was given a different machine to pay with.
I will never return to this store to purchase...
