Unprofessional staff, I brought my mom here for the first time because I like the way they cook the Tandori fish. I clearly told the waitress to please ask the kitchen to make everything mild because my mother can’t eat a lot of spices.
Few minutes later other waiters brought green salad with spices sprinkled on the top.
I looked at my mom face and she was disappointed because she just wanted plain green salad.
Then I asked the waitress to please ask the kitchen to bring another one with no Black pepper or other spices sprinkled on it.
The waitress then looked at me then she said but this Salad will go to waste if you don’t eat it…
I said but sorry my mother can not have it she will get sick later if she eat it.
Then she went back to kitchen and came saying you are going to have to pay extra for the salad..
I said who is saying that. She said the Auntie inside the kitchen. I said let her come out so I can talk to her or cancel the whole order we are leaving.
She went and came back again saying ok you will get your salad with no spices on the top no extra charge.
The fish came very spices than usual…
The salad was looking good except the bottom was looking little bit old as shown in photo.
I am eating right now feeling scared if she did something in my food because I returned the Salad.
Unfortunately my experience today here was not good I got so embarrassed bringing...
Read moreI have heard from most of the people in Canada that you cannot find the Indian taste which you look for in Indian restaurants in Canada. Some say there are many restaurants in Bramton which give you exact same taste like in India but some don’t agree. I personally believe that yes not every restaurant has the same blend of spices, taste and service which we used to have in India. There are some restaurants which are good in service but not that good in taste so you can’t get a perfect experience. I have found out that in Canada some people open restaurants just to earn money and some do because they have that lovely skill and art of cooking and they just want to share that with people.
Usually there are not many restaurants in favourite list but this one will have a place for sure. When i had the food here i found all the parameters which i was looking for Taste, Ambience and Service. I personally felt so good when the owner who also looks after the food came to me and personally looked after the service at my table. This only happens in India and this made me feel like i am in my home town. I was so impressed with the service. I loved his gesture. Everything at this restaurant gave me nostalgia and i felt like i was sitting in India with my friends.
One of the best experiences of my...
Read moreOctober 2021. 4.5★ There's a lot of Indian restaurants in this area, so for an outsider visiting the area, deciding which to go to can be challenging. Reading reviews, looking at pictures and also considering the menu/price, this is a clear winner. Atmosphere: located in a strip plaza, this isn't bad fancy place, but considering the taste to cost, it's not bad. Food: pretty good. The Tandoori Lollipop Chicken which isn't on the regular menu was very good. Just the right levels of spiciness and flavor. At $12 for 8 pieces, the price isn't too expensive. The Fish Pakora had 16 pieces for $12 was cheap. The pieces of fish were a good size, the pakora batter was nice and light. Paired with the sauces was a hit. If you like Pakora, this is a good option. The Lamb Shesh Kabob came steaming on a grill plate and had lots of spices. This was ok. A little bit dry. The Madras Chicken curry was very good and something different from the usual butter chicken. A little bit spicy and flavourful. Pair the curry with the Butter Naans and it's a perfect match. Parking a plenty. Though you'll find this place to be very busy on the weekends. Lots of take out. Things that can be improved: silverware could be cleaner. However, the staff was quick to address. Overall...
