I visited Lazeez Shawarma yesterday around 5 PM after finishing my shift in Oakville. I was very hungry and decided to order Chicken on the Rocks. I parked my car near the store, went in, and placed my order. After receiving my food, I sat down to eat and had only taken about two spoonfuls when I discovered a long hair mixed in with the food. Naturally, I was disgusted and immediately went back into the store to speak with the manager.
The manager on duty, Sandeep, not only refused to take the issue seriously, but also responded in an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful manner. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, she became defensive and confrontational, raising her voice and speaking to me in a very rude and offensive tone. Her behavior was aggressive, dismissive, and made me feel like I was at fault for simply pointing out a serious hygiene issue.
I’ve never experienced such poor customer service before. Sandeep’s lack of accountability, coupled with her inappropriate language and attitude, reflects very poorly on the store and the brand. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from someone in a managerial role.
I’m posting this review to bring this matter to the attention of the store owner and higher management. I hope serious action is taken to address both the food safety issue and the unprofessional conduct of the manager. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when raising a...
Read moreI am huge supporter of Small Businesses. I don’t compare business to business but today This place shocked me. If you ready recent reviews and you see 1 star, they are true 100%. That’s a legitimate experience of people. Here’s why I gave 1 star
I went to order regular shawarma wrap and when the girl put chicken I asked her don’t you think that’s less chicken? Someone from the back came and said that’s the amount told to us by Lazeez head office I said okay it looks less than regular but that’s fine. The man went on and said “ your not paying high price like other shawarma places, we are also cheaper in prices so you get less amount of chicken” the person went on and added “ if you want more chicken there’s extra meat option” it left me in awe. First of all he has longer hair then the girls working their and he’s walking around in kitchen and cashier without hair net and then he’s being rude to customers and employees. He checked the washrooms and yelled at girls why the washrooms are unlocked as they are supposed to be locked all the times and if someone wants to use it they have to ask for keys and someone has to open the washroom and lock after the use.
The wrap was cold and chicken looked over cooked and was very chewy. Definitely never going back and please read this review before going there. Please check other 1 star reviews you will see the same...
Read moreIn comparison, Osmow's offers superior quality. The Lazeez Shawarma location in question exhibits several shortcomings. Notably, after 1:30 AM, they cease preparing fries and wraps to avoid cooking additional chicken. Consequently, walk-in customers are denied these items, while Uber Eats and Dash orders continue to be fulfilled. Furthermore, the establishment lacks proper hygiene practices, with iPads falling into the pantry and garlic sauce. These newly implemented rules inconvenience walk-in customers. The staff demonstrates rudeness and impatience, potentially due to fatigue. Regrettably, the management appears indifferent to addressing these issues, resulting in persistent problems. The establishment's sole advantage lies in its extended operating hours until 3 AM, capitalizing on the absence of nearby alternatives. However, Osmow's stands out for its consistent quality, ensuring that all ingredients are properly cooked and presented. While increased business activity typically demands enhanced hygiene and quality control, this location falls short in these aspects. Even the fries are frequently undercooked, raising concerns about customer preferences. In conclusion, Lazeez Shawarma warrants significant improvement, while Osmow's emerges as the preferred choice for quality and customer...
