This franchise needs a serious wake-up call! Their disregard for customer feedback is appalling. The food is a disaster – either unbearably sweet or overwhelmingly spicy. I've tried a variety of dishes, from Dabeli and Bhel to Vadapav, Grill Sandwich, and Pizza, and every single one was PATHETIC. Forget an "Ahmedabadi touch," it tasted like a culinary crime scene. Serving cold pizza and Dabeli is unforgivable, even if they replaced it. First impressions matter, and they failed miserably. Their excuse for the excessive spice? "The masala comes from India." What nonsense! They clearly lack the common sense to adjust the recipe or at least use more potatoes and less masala. It's like they're trying to sabotage their own business. The service was a mixed bag. While they did replace the cold food, the negative impact was already done. The atmosphere was equally horrendous. The stench from the tables was nauseating, likely due to their disgusting habit of re-using filthy cleaning cloths. Add to that the lack of proper ventilation, the suffocating air, the absence of AC/heating, the filthy parking lot, and the overflowing garbage in the dining area, and you have a recipe for disaster. This franchise needs to take immediate action to address these issues or face the...
Read moreThis franchise needs to take criticism & feedback seriously. Food either too sweet or too spicy. Tried multiple things like Dabeli, Bhel, vadapu, Grill sandwich, Pizza, etc. Everything PATHETIC. Nothing near a good taste, forget Ahmedabadi touch.
Food: They initially served a cold Pizza and Dabeli. When told about they accepted, apologized and served another one. Appreciated. But first impressions went wrong already. How can you serve a Dabeli and Pizza cold? Lol. Taste is on two extreme side, Spicy and Sweet. Reason: They use Dabeli mesh potato (maavo) masala in all their dishes. Aalo matar has Dabeli maavo, bhel has daabeli maavo, dabeli has dabeli mavo, bowl as dabeli maavo. I am sure even their pau bhaji will have Dabeli maavo.
Service: Negative points for serving cold food. Positive points for identifying and correcting it.
Atmosphere: Stinky smell from the dine-in tables. This happens when you keep re-using a cleaning cloth for longest time and everywhere same cloth.
Stinky table, no exhaust/vent and so suffocating inside. No AC/Heat. Dirty parking area right un the front door. Garbage overly full in...
Read moreMy family and I recently visited Kutchi King, hoping for an authentic and satisfying experience, but the overall visit was unfortunately just okay. While the restaurant is clearly aiming for unique Indian street food, several execution issues prevented it from being a good experience.
The service speed was noticeably slow. Our order took 30–35 minutes to arrive, which is lengthy for the type of quick-serve items ordered.
We tried several of their signature items, and the feedback was mixed: • Gughra Sandwich: This dish was decent in flavor, but quality control was lacking, as it arrived partially burnt (over-toasted) on one side. • Bhakri Pizza: This was the most disappointing item. It was made on a regular, extra crispy pizza base instead of the traditional bhakri crust, completely missing the promised authenticity of the dish. • Vada Pav: Considering the premium price point of $5 per piece, the Vada Pav was remarkably ordinary. The quality simply did not justify the cost compared to other...
