Made this discovery a while back and so glad we did! Ice flame doing their “tawa” ice cream, a desi take on the famous rolled ice cream that originated from Thailand also known as “Thai rolled ice cream”.
I am absolutely in love with rolled ice cream and the concept of it being made in front of you! Keep scrolling to see videos I took of the process 😊
Now to review my experience, I’m going to start with the atmosphere in this place was amazing, y’all know I’m all about bollywood music and good eats, during covid times these are key to me 😋
Walking in I was greeted and referred to the menu that had SO many flavours, everything from traditional Swiss chocolate to Nutella banana (my favourite and on the left without banana though) to exotic flavours such as pina colada and Indian twists such as rasmalai and gulab jamun 😍😍😍
We got the following:
Nutella banana rolls - made with a condensed milk base, Nutella and bananas (I skipped the banana). Topped with a chocolate chip cookie and Nutella 😍
Crispy Rocher - made with a chocolate milk base, topped with a ferrero rocher chocolate, wafers and chocolate syrup 😍
To conclude I loved the fusion of the Indian flavours with the rolled ice cream, their menu was expansive with many more flavours and items to try. I’m sure there is something for everyone at Ice Flame! They just opened up recently but are killing it already and I wish them continued success always. We have already gone back a few times 🥰 go check them...

We visited Ice Flame at Ardglen Drive to try their Chuski and Deluxe Ice Dish, hoping for the same great taste we've come to enjoy from their Roll Ice Cream — which, to be fair, has always been amazing.
Unfortunately, this visit was a huge letdown. We spent $19.19 on the Chuski and Deluxe Ice Dish, only to be served items that lacked flavour and barely had any cream or rabri, which are supposed to be the highlights of these desserts. When we raised our concerns with the staff, the response was underwhelming — a small spoon of Khus flavour was added as an afterthought, and our complaint about the missing rabri was simply brushed off.
It seems like they’re relying on gimmicks like the $0.99 Chuski Instagram promos to attract foot traffic (we did not go for that offer, we paid full menu price), but if the flavours and service don’t back it up, there’s no real value in coming here.
We won’t be returning and definitely won’t be recommending Ice Flame to any of our foodie friends. A real shame, considering...
Read moreDecided to try this little ice cream joint the other day with my fiancé. We were hesitant at first but it had a great rating so we checked it out. We were NOT DISAPPOINTED. Its a small shop and the customer service was very pleasant. My fiancé ordered the kit kat crunch, whereas I ordered the oreo (we decided to play it safe). I was definitely impressed. Unlike Dairy Queen where the second you go outside their ice cream starts to melt, I can confidently say that the ice cream at Ice Flame stayed frozen, cold and creamy for a very long time as we took our time to eat.
Also I just need to say that unlike grocery store bought oreo ice cream, the oreo ice cream from Ice Flame had a perfect cookies to cream ratio! It was delicious!
Tip for the owners: Focus on marketing yourselves more! You're doing great so far!
