I recently ordered from Pizza depot and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The missing slice from my pizza order was not only frustrating but also reflective of a lack of attention to detail and customer service. Upon receiving my order, I immediately noticed that a slice was conspicuously absent. I reached out to Pizza depot by call and gave them the picture to bring this to their attention, expecting a prompt resolution or at least an apology. However, the response I received was not only unhelpful but downright disappointing. Instead of acknowledging the error and taking responsibility, the staff argued and, shockingly, placed the blame on me. This customer service approach is not only unprofessional but also leaves a lasting negative impression. It's disheartening when a simple concern turns into a confrontational exchange. A missing slice might seem trivial, but it reflects the overall quality of service and attention to detail. In this case, it was emblematic of a lackadaisical attitude towards customer satisfaction. I had hoped for a pleasant meal from Pizza depot, but this experience has left me with a sour taste. Would have given -5 if had an option. I had pizza at other locations but this location is THE WORST. Don't think Pizza depot corporate will take some actions but I really hope they do so customers can have some good experience.
The location doesn't have any option to submit any complain and would lamely ask to write the complain on a piece of cardboard. Pic of the cardboard attached where they wrote the email ID and asked to write the complain which they will throw in the bin.
Response to owner: No one hung up on the manager so that is a total lie. We did speak to the manager Aradhana from the supervisor's cellphone after waiting for 30 mins and later we were told by the manager that, the manager/owner will get back to us on May 24th with a solution which is not done till date. Kim (given name by supervisor which seems to be fake) had us stay at the store and stalling us so we give up and don't file a complaint. Background - received a call a few mins after placing my online order that one of my selected toppings was out of stock and to choose another one. No problem, I chose another topping. Then was asked "would you like ginger on it" to which I replied "no, but lots of garlic and coriander as mentioned in the notes." I was then told that they didn't have garlic, but could put garlic powder on it. I was skeptical as I've been ordering here for years, so I asked if not having fresh garlic was a recent change, or were they out of stock of that as well. I was told they've never had fresh garlic. Baffled/annoyed/wanting to get off the phone at this point, I just said okay and my pizza was delivered and it was fine.
My questions for whoever operates this store so I can get a definitive answer.
Do you use fresh garlic, or garlic powder?
If using garlic powder, as I was told by someone on the phone, why does your website say "fresh garlic?"
If you use fresh garlic, why was I told on the phone that you've never used fresh garlic but can put garlic powder on it?
