I just had the worst experience with Punjabi chaap corner. I ordered mohanthal halwa and malai soya tikka through uber eats. Items that were displayed in their pictures are literally different than what I received.
The Malai Soya Tikka I received is nothing like the picture. The displayed version had skewered soya chunks and vegetables with minimal sauce. Instead, I got unskewered soya chunks drenched in sauce, all tossed in a box.
Iâve attached pictures of their Uber Eats menu vs. what I actually received. Judge for yourself.
The Mohanhalwa that I received is completely different from what was shown in the picture. It was displayed in a good size round plate without the pool of oil, but I received it in a tiny circular box with oil leakage. Even the color and texture are clearly different.
When I called the shop, they told me not to rely on the picture as they donât serve it skewered. This is a complete misrepresentation of the dish and a waste of my time and mood.
The shopkeeper suggested I contact Uber customer service for assistance and mentioned that next time I visit the store, I can provide my name, and theyâll offer me another...
Read moreAmazed by the customer service. The girl didnât wanted to let me know her name after I narrated what happened with my order last night. Have been eating from here almost 3 yrs or maybe more. Here is a story of what happened to my order I ordered 3 things - Biryani , spring rolls , and tandoori momos
Biryani - felt like it was made 2-3 days ago, and rice got hard just like rubber. Chutney was all white , meaning there was one spoon of chutney in yogurt Spring rolls - they were too oily that the box got soaked in oil and fell apart Tandoori momos - funniest , they were not done in a tandoor , but a steamed momos made in a Manchurian sauce. Craziest part - I gave a call next day , and asked them that I would like to speak to the owner and girl smartly said she canât let me do that , also she wouldnât be able to tell her name. Please save your money , and time and try other PCCâs . I will definitely take this matter to city for providing low grade , stale and health hazardous food, since I have the samples of food. For PCC franchise chain , please donât lose your valuable customers who have been eating in India...
Read moreI'm a regular customer of Punjabi Chaap Corner and absolutely love the food from their Main Vodden location â it's always fresh, flavourful, and well-prepared. Unfortunately, this location has been a big disappointment.
Every time Iâve ordered from here, especially close to closing time, the quality drops drastically. It feels like they just throw things together without any attention to taste or presentation.
I recently ordered the chaap biryani, and the rice was undercooked â a basic thing that should never go wrong. Last week, I tried the paneer tikka, and to be honest, it was nothing like it should be. It tasted more like hard paneer tossed in a chilli sauce than actual paneer tikka.
I didnât want to post this, but after multiple bad experiences, I felt it's important to share. If you're craving the real Punjabi Chaap Corner experience, stick to the Main Vodden location. I wonât be ordering from this one again and definitely wouldnât...
