I visited Shake & Grill last Friday with my daughter (though just getting around to writing this review now). Overall, the experience was very good. I had to drive around the plaza twice before finding it, as the restaurant is new and didn't have proper signage on the building (it is nestled between Food Asia Indian grocer and Ravi's West Indian grocery). The gentleman who took my order (possibly the owner) was very friendly. We ordered a Hella Nutella shake (which my daughter loved...but she's 9, so what's not to love about Nutella?). We also ordered aloo gobhi, baingan bharta, goat vindaloo, plain naan and garlic naan. The aloo gobhi was delicious. I liked the baingan, thouugh I will say it was very different than other baingan dishes I have tried, as it had a slight smokey flavour to it. The vindaloo was very good...though not quite as spicy as I hoped (maybe they see a white person and make it less spicy...haha!). I don't usually like garlic naan, but I really liked this one and my daughter loved it. I would suggest major improvements to their Website though. When you click on "Menus" you don't get the full menu, and when you click "About" and "Our Team" you get information about a restaurant in San Francisco. Perhaps this Brampton location is affiliated with the San Fran location...but you don't get specific information about the Brampton location. Also, when you click on the Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn links from their Website, you are not taken to the restaurant's social media pages, but rather, to the web developer's social media pages. I would definitely go back to try more menu items and of course, their Oreogasm shake. "I'll have what she's...
Read moreYour response is honestly laughable. First of all, it was not a prank call — it was an actual order, and not the first time we’ve ordered from you either. Maybe before accusing customers, get your facts straight.
We called to point out that the person who took the order was rude and highly unprofessional. After repeatedly asking 4–5 times, she finally gave her name — which is how we found out who it was. The fact that you’re accusing us of abusive language is ridiculous, because at no point were we even remotely rude. We were calm and polite, even while being talked down to by your staff.
It’s honestly shocking that instead of apologizing or handling this professionally, you send this kind of arrogant and condescending message. You clearly don’t value your customers and clearly have no clue what actual “professionalism” means.
If this is how you handle genuine feedback, it’s no surprise your staff feels comfortable being rude in the first place. Maybe work on fixing that instead of sending out embarrassing replies like this one.
Absolutely terrible experience. The manager, Nishi, was not even paying attention while taking my order—completely distracted and uninterested. When I politely asked for her name to give feedback, she bluntly said, “I’m not interested.” I’ve never seen such blatant disregard for customers. Zero customer service, zero professionalism. If this is how they treat people, I won’t be coming back, and I definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone. Avoid...

I came here for takeout upon a recommendation, and it was definitely worth trying.
We ordered the following, for a family of 5:
Butter Chicken Daal Makhani Paneer Labobdar Goat Curry Amritsari Kulcha (came with chole) Naan
The Butter Chicken is slightly more tomato based than what I'm used to, but still had a nice flavour to it.
The Daal Makhani was good. Pretty standard.
The Paneer Labobdar was great! I really liked the flavour, so much so, I think I would go back and try the Chicken Labobdar if they have it.
The Goat Curry was one of the best I've ever had 👌🏽 Truly so flavourful and it has the most tender meat I've ever had in a goat dish before.
The Amritsari Kulcha was pretty good as well. the Chole that came with it was also pretty good.
Something to Note: The Naan is Delhi style Naan, which means it's a bit crispier than normal.
Our total came out to around $100 which is a little pricy for takeout, but we did get a good amount of naan and plenty of leftovers for the next day.
The customer service here is also great! We had an issue with one of our items, and they promptly addressed it, offered us a replacement and even provided us with complimentary Gulab Jamun.
Shoutout to Sandeep for the great customer...
