Starbucks will always have me coming back for it's drinks and foods however the service by the manager, Jennifer at my neighborhood starbucks on brisdale has been absolutely disgraceful. I ignored the bad service by Jennifer a few times, thinking everyone has a bad day however when the service is consistently bad I'm here to write a review so my experience could improve henceforth. I am a regular at this location with my family, my friends and when we pay a premium price for better quality food and drinks we expect better service as well. Starbucks is known for its exceptional customer service but Jennifer is far from that. Jennifer always seems in a bad mood with no smile, an attitude when she talks and absolutely no customer service skills. The location closes at 10.30pm and this one time I was there she started piling the chairs on the tables at about 10pm with loud thuds. Now that's not what you do when you have customers sitting inside. Another time my drink wasn't sweet enough and instead of asking if I wanted the drink remade, she just gave me syrup at the side with a frown. Last week I went to redeem my points for a Starbucks cup and told her I would like to redeem my points, she punched in the order and asked me to pay. I repeated I would like to redeem my points and she rudely says you didn't tell me that vs politely saying sorry maybe I didn't hear that the first time. These are a couple examples of her bad service. I hope Starbucks Canada reads this review and provides the necessary training to Jennifer so we can expect a smile and better service from her in the future or we can just stop going to this location if the bad...

Although the app said the salad I ordered was available they didn't have any containers in store to put the salad in. I asked my brother to get another item and have the store refund the difference. They then said they couldn't refund the difference without the card so he should just purchase more items to make up the difference. This resulted in a bigger charge than the amount I had already paid. The amount I paid was refunded to my card and another amount was charged for everything I ordered. If there was a refund and new charge why was the amont for the item I wanted not just charged? Why was my brother asked to purchase more items??
The lack of courtesy and customer service by the employees in this store is ridiculous. When trying to call the store no one picks up the phone. I had a bad experience here in the past but the manager made up for it by apologizing and providing a courtesy gift card. I noticed that there is an opportunity to provide a tip to the server on the app for good customer service. There should also be room to submit complaints. I am a regular customer of starbucks and usually receive great service from all stores except this one. I asked the cashier who was so sweet his name was Sushant if they were able to make a one time exception for a birthday drink as i was not able to collect said drink due to being in the hospital for my birthday. She whipped her head around and told him that you can collect it on your birthday and that i would need to pay for the drink if i wanted it in the most vindictive way possible. It was so abrupt and i was taken aback at this weird lash out. This is NOT what starbucks stands for. It was absolutely atrocious to walk into an atmosphere where iām walking to a situation and being dealt with so disrespectfully. The cashier Sushant was so professional and so amazing in his excellent customer service and truly turned the situation around and dealt with it like a TRUE leader should. He apologized for the outburst from his manager and offered to upsize the drink and no additional cost as he could see i was upset. He put birthday stickers on the drink and everything and wished me a happy birthday and told me to have an amazing day.
