First of all, I just want to say that its a shame that this is the only Starbucks near me. Otherwise, I would not be wasting my hard earned money on this location. I waited for such a long time to get 2 items, the line up through the drive through moves so ridiculously slow because everyone here is busy chit chatting instead of doing actual work. My daughter wanted real food and because shes 7 and cant decide on the spot I decided to go in instead. There was around 5 people in the store, and being children, one of my daughters were running around (BECAUSE THATS WHAT CHILDREN DO) then one of the baristas, his name is CY and he is of oriental decent, decides to be snappy and tell my children to stop running. TWICE. I looked at him because a) there are no people around, whats wrong with running?? It wasnt even like the kids was running all over the store, she was running from a short distance away then back to me. They are children. This is what they do. They run, they move they are active. Although I understand his concerns, i feel like this could have been handled a lot better and he could have asked a lot nicer. Because the way he asked made my daughter feel unwelcome, even coming up to me and saying "Mommy, I dont like Starbucks". And not to mention he ended up giving my kids anxiety. Rushing to eat and wanting to get in the car. Needless to say, i will no longer be coming to this location as this is just ridiculous at this point. I wait outside in the heat, because the workers cant move fast enough and this is what I get when I decide to walk in? Not acceptable. I will also be filing a formal complaint to the Starbucks company. They picture themselves as a family friendly store yet made my kids feel uncomfortable just because they decide to hire someone that cannot comprehend "its not what you say, ITS HOW...
Read moreI visited this location on Boxing Day around 330-430pm. Now, I used to work for multiple Starbucks locations for 6-7 years... never in my life have I experienced such slow and horrible service from this company than at this location. I waited LITERALLY 45 minutes for 2 drinks. Who looked to be the manager would roll out on her chair and grab something from the pastry case. But never once jumped on bar to help. There was one male working on hot bar alone the entire time. I can tell her was new and was honestly trying his best not to get overwhelmed especially with the complaints, orders being canceled and low stock items that needed to be refilled. I only went inside because the drive thru line was extremely long.. but that cleared up faster because there was Aliza (think her name was) making all the drive thru drinks and she seemed more experience and was also trying to keep the atmosphere positive and keep the guy on hot bar motivated. Now this caused all of the cold bar drinks to just sit there and pile up. Aliza made a few and them the black girl on drive thru I guess went on break and it was only aliza, the guy on hot bar and the cashier who didn't seem to know how to make drinks or even punch in orders. Now no one was on cold bar making drink with a new person making hot drinks alone. Aliza had to make her own drive thru drinks....... do I need to go on? It was a mess. I hope who ever the DM is sees this review and goes in to see what is going on with management and staff. Every person inside waited over 30 minutes for drinks that were either messed up or they didn't receive at all. Koodos to Aliza though because she really...

I visited the Starbucks drive-thru on August 6th, 2025, around 5:15 PM. I placed an order for two items. When I reached the window to pay and pick up my order, the staff informed me that one of the items was unavailable. I politely requested that they just give me the remaining item.
However, what followed was disappointing. The staff member at the window responded in a rude and dismissive manner. Instead of completing my order, she walked away and sent another employee to finish the transaction. When I asked for her name, the team refused to share it. I then spoke to the manager, who was unfortunately just as dismissive. She identified herself only as “C,” which felt insincere and unprofessional.
I understand that issues can arise and items can go out of stock, but it’s the way customers are treated that makes a lasting impression. The attitude and lack of basic courtesy I experienced were unacceptable. It felt especially upsetting as someone from a different cultural background to be treated with such disregard. Respect, kindness, and professionalism should be the standard for all employees, especially at a brand as global as Starbucks.
This might seem like a small issue, but I truly believe that better customer service training — especially around cultural sensitivity and professionalism — can make a big difference in how communities view and...
