Went randomly for a quick south indian breakfast as it was one of the only open place early in the morning. The place is petite, not fancy, but its clean. Unsure at the beginning, eventually decided to eat. Uncle at the counter is very sweet and kind to speak with. Serving time is reasonable, portions acceptable but the food is where all the surprise is hidden! Tried rava masala dosa and poori masal and both were amazing. Food tastes very authentic, hygienic, and flavorful. Place got busy quickly so we vacated our table for other diners and took away our last item-Filter coffees. If I like the restaurant, I usually leave a Google rating and review to support them but I rarely call the restaurant back and compliment and thank them for their food. This is one such restaurant! My first in the GTA! Btw, Filter coffee was superb too! Do give this place a try for its flavour and simplicity. This is not a paid review. Didn't get offered anything for free to leave a false positive rating. I loved it & will definitely come back. Don't expect ambience but still the place is Voted Up & Suggested! P.S. Credit cards are not accepted. Maybe controlling costs to keep prices affordable, however, the quality is not compromised. They accept interac payments.

Not an ideal dine in location - but, the idlies and vada can compete with what I'd rank as the best restaurant in Toronto GTA (Nilgiris) (specific to how properly the idlies and vada are made - batter composition being the main reason). Took my dad and we enjoyed "malli-pu" idly (as soft as jasmine flower), vada, Pongal and Mysore masala dosa. We dined in at a randomly arranged 3-4 table setting. Ambiance or dine in is not what you look for when you come here. True to their name - Suvvai meaning taste, their idly, chutney, sambhar, vada, Mysore masala dosa were all excellent. As a fact, I grew up eating idlies almost every day that I abhor it at restaurants - unless it's made at home or until I went to Suvvai, it's ordered from Nilgiris. Glad I stumbled upon this restaurant. Along with Nilgiris, Suvvai is now a top recommendation for authentic idlies / dosa's. Update, almost a year since my previous review. My rating remains unchanged, as Google doesn't allow a 6 star review 😁 I've taken numerous friends and family here, if in the mood for the ever reliable idlis, dosas, or other standard South Indian food items. Taste and quality remains unblemished and my hope is that the owners find a way to open another branch in Mississauga!

I recently dined at Suvvai, and I must say I've never experienced such authentic homemade food in Canada. What amazed me the most was that we ordered a whopping 15 items, and the bill only came to $36! It's truly unbelievable given the quality of food. Suvvai is undoubtedly a hidden gem in Brampton, especially for pure vegetarian cuisine enthusiasts like myself. The ghee dosa, in particular, transported me straight to Kerala; as if it had been freshly made there and magically transported to Canada. The flavors were reminiscent of an authentic Kerala vegetarian restaurant. I must also give a special mention to their idli. It was incredibly spongy, and the authentic taste left me utterly impressed. I couldn't fathom how they managed to achieve such perfection in their idlis. Suvvai is truly a culinary treasure, and if you appreciate the finest in pure vegetarian cuisine, their idlis are a must-try. In my opinion, Suvvai surpasses even well-known establishments like Saravana Bhavan in Canada. The food here is exceptional, and the chef deserves an absolute salute for his talent. If you're looking for the best in pure vegetarian dining, Suvvai is the place to be.

If you're in the mood for delicious South Indian cuisine that's both affordable and satisfying, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. Despite its limited seating area (only 3 tables for in-store eating), the food more than makes up for it with its homemade feel and excellent flavor.

We decided to try the Idli, Vada, Dosa, and Rava Dosa, and we were blown away by the quality and taste of each dish. The Idli was fluffy and steamed to perfection, while the Vada had a crispy exterior and a soft, flavorful interior. Both were served with a variety of chutneys that complemented the flavors perfectly.

The regular Dosa was thin and crispy, while the Rava Dosa had a slightly thicker texture with a nice crunch. Both were generously filled with flavorful ingredients, and the accompanying chutneys added an extra layer of depth to the flavors.

But perhaps the best part of the dining experience was the portion sizes. Each dish was served in generous portions that left us feeling satisfied and full. And despite the excellent quality and large portions, the prices were very reasonable, making it an affordable dining option for everyone.

Overall, if you're looking for authentic South Indian cuisine that tastes like it's been made at home, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, the portions are excellent, and the prices are affordable. And while it may be more geared towards takeout, the limited seating area doesn't detract from the overall...

It’s been long time having this kind of Amazing home style food. Tried Idli & Plain dosai, extremely good, I was pleasantly surprised with this Hidden gem. Family run business, please do support if you are around this area, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Simply wow⭐️

EDITED: Same day we tried Lunch combo with Rice Sambar Rasam Aviyal Potato & Appalam & added Poondu Kuzambhu extra

Do yourself a favour & try this place Pure magic❤️

Flawless cooking & everything we ate was simply wow & my favourite was Poondu kuzambhu & Aviyal, I can’t thank Sugunavathy(chef) for the delicious food she served & wishing this small family owned business huge success from bottom of my heart.

Rather going & wasting money in high end restaurant with great ambience, we try to support small family owned business like SUVVAI & business like them deserves great support.

So if you are in Missisauga or GTA area, if you are foodie, this is the place you don’t want to miss. If you like authentic food over ambience & this the place for you, try it you will not be disappointed & you will thank me for my review🙂

The best part the food is very very reasonable priced & for the quality she served it’s incredible.

Again, my sincere prayers & wishes to them for...
