The lady I had serve me started our interaction with short answers and a scowl on her face. It felt like she was annoyed just to have to serve me. I hadn’t been there before and had a few questions about the soup and sandwich combinations… she bluntly told me to read the board behind the counter that I hadn’t noticed yet. Once I had looked at the board briefly and made my choice, she snapped back at me because the choice I made (that was written on the board) they had no more of that day, like I was supposed to know that they had ran out. I then ordered six cinnamon buns and at the request of a friend politely asked if she could cut them in half and toast them on the grill behind her (he had made this request before and it wasn’t a problem). She replied “I’m not doing that” I was so taken a back that I just replied “Alright”. And to make it a worse experience. I was given a 50 dollar gift card as a present, at some point I needed to take down an address and had written it on the back of the gift card as it was what I had handy. She took the card and stared at me for a moment and then accused me of previously using the card (this had been my first visit). They have 2 meals with the same title, 2 eggs and toast is what I wanted that was supposed to include hash browns and bacon, only got 2 eggs and toast. I called in and she said they also sell 2 eggs and toast. I recommended they change the names of the full meal so there is less confusion, she did apologize, I just expected more on their behalf to please the customer.

Eggs were also burnt to top it all off. No gluten free bread options or sourdough. Hope they make...

Best bakery in town. I love the muffins. I love the breakfast. I love the lunches. The only things I wish are that it was open for supper and that it posted it's lunch menu in advance so I knew what it is having. For example they have really good spaghetti, chili, burgers etc but I never know what day they are cooking those since they only have 1 lunch...
