Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Brandon

My fiancé and I chose to come to this location for our friends 20th birthday. We were greeted by Michelle.S who ended up being our server as well. She immediately assumed we were there ONLY for liquor and made us all feel judged and embarrassed, even though we were coming for appetizers too. The whole experience in itself was HORRIBLE! Only good thing was the food but only when you weren’t being judged, Michelle proceeded to question my friend on why she wouldn’t eat the onions on her meal, How is that ANY of her business in general? Later in the experience when I boxed up my meal I chose to leave the celery sticks out and on my plate when Michelle saw this she pointed her finger down at them and back at my box and waited till I boxed them up as well and commented “thats better!”. She has no right to be telling me how to take what I WANT home or not. Never mind feeling judged on being picky eaters she was VERY passive aggressive the WHOLE time serving us and made us all feel uncomfortable and just plain disrespected. Michelle also ended up bring hearts to the table and saying “I know you’re just going to get some of these, RIGHT?” without telling us they cost extra, don’t get me wrong I’m not upset about $2 but the fact that she made sure we knew she didn’t like what we wrote on them and how we’re very unoriginal and I quote she said “really none of you draw?!? Well piss on you guys then!” . Now that’s something I would definitely not say to a table even as a joke. Come the end of the whole experience when it’s time to pay, she brings the bills and gets my debit machine ready and proceeds to hand it to me and i say to her “sorry just need to get my debit out of bag on the side of the table” and her immediate response was “well come on girl you NEED to be more prepared that’s just not right” I was left speechless and just did an uncomfortably nervous laugh and paid my bill. Definitely will NOT come back to this location ever again and feel very sad for anyone else that has to get Michelle.S...

My husband and I recently drove from Thunder Bay ON to Brandon MB at the end of June 2015 and we were both very hungry after a long day of travelling in the car. We decided to go to Boston Pizza as we are familiar with their food and had a hankering for it. We have also eaten at many Boston Pizza's in Western Canada and the Ottawa area but some are better then others it seems, It was a Sunday evening when we arrived and we were quickly seated as the restaurant seemed about half full. Then we began to wait and wait and wait and wait..After about 20 minutes nobody even asked if we would like a glass of water ! I saw three different waitresses look at us and but still nobody came by our table. It was like we were forgotten as everybody else in the restaurant was eating and the waitresses would ask the other customers if they needed anything which they didn't. We were starved so my wife asked if she could speak with a manager but was advised she was not available and the staff were quite rude dealing with our complaint. We left the restaurant at that point and I sent an email to the Boston Pizza corporate web site as to our bad experience. To this day nobody has responded at all even though phone numbers and email address were given to them. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Went here with my friend from out of town. Went for the ravioli and fishbowls. Wouldn't accept my friends Governemnt issued ID as being a patriot from another province. Explained they needed two instead of one sense shes from outside of Manitoba which is ridciolus as we've been there several times before and ordered a drink and also went to other establishments and order a drink and was just asked for one peice of ID. ALL is fine was disappointed that my friend and I couldn't enjoy a drink over some dinner. She tried my drink the smallest sip and the manger came rushing over and yelled at us, as we aren't underage but the table beside us let their child take a drink of beer but that's alright! I had the jolly rancher fishbowl ABSOLUTELY disgusting. Had a underage surver who couldn't recommend drinks, & wouldn't stop kissing ass for a tip. The manager constantly watched me and my friend the entire time we were there. If looks could kill she'd be the one who did it, was very rude and obnoxious towards us because of the ID & threatened to "remove us from the building" as we didn't do anything. Ravioli was disgusting, drinks were horrible, staff was rude and the service was poor & the management was inexperienced. WILL not be returning to this...
