Original Joe's — Restaurant in Brandon

Went to Original Joe's for my birthday with my wife. Although seated quickly, the service to say it nicely was a incredible letdown. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, our server Ryleigh never checked on us once after we ordered our drinks and appetizer and forgot our drinks while managing to put our order in wrong.

The real disappointment was the food. Our nachos came without the beef we'd ordered. When we pointed it out, what we assume was a manager offered to just add beef in a bowl on the side, which is kind of a bizare offer, and we refused. We asked to get it made properly and instead of giving us a fresh dish made correctly, they simply poured cold beef over our now cold nachos and sent it back out. It felt careless. We then waited for someone to come back over but that this point the experience was ruined.

We left our overpriced drinks mostly untouched, asked for the bill minus the nachos, and decided this was our last visit. For future patrons' sake, I hope the staff gets...

Interesting evening, our second time here. The first time was great. The wait staff used a tablet to take our order. We were only a table of three, appies and mains. Easy order with three special requests due to allergies and preferences. However it was obvious that the cook staff were not paying attention to these instructions. We sent back an appy so I didn’t have an allergic reaction! Then my wife’s rice (risotto) bowl was inedible !!! (Rice was a glob of mush and the dish was ordered with no hot sauce! (An option that we selected on our first visit). But was neglected tonight. Our Daughter requested no peppers on her dish. It looked like they neglected this request too, then made an attempt to pick them out. As there was not many but we found some small pieces. Enough to make her meal dissatisfying ! The waitress made an attempt to make it up to us but we had waited long enough due to the many corrections and the errors we caught, we just wanted...

My mom’s coffee was cold. So sent it back & came back steaming. Wing night - Wings were over cooked & cold and no flavor so I really couldn’t tell what was Cajun or salt and pepper. Must have sat there and then sprinkled seasoning which was all on the paper. Veggies And dip consisted of two tiny carrot sticks with ranch. Waitress was rude. My elderly mom is 80 lbs and has ordered off kids menu here before including the perfect size kids dessert. Waitress said she went to her boss and wouldn’t allow dessert with it so waitress before shouldn’t have allowed it. It was mom’s birthday. Only one person out of 5 enjoyed their meal. Time previous we went it was excellent. Not sure now it could be so inconsistent. Disappointing when you pay over $100.
